You may double check that shortie. From memory, I think he is right that there was a gap.
Does your chart contain data in pre-market. Before jobs report market was higher, but at 9:30AM there was a gap (and not filled).
Do you know which country has had the best stock market performance in the world? I was shocked when I came across a chart of the stock market of a country which is beating gold charts. I was wondering which countries are doing the same (if there is another country).
No I am not from there, and I have never set foot in that country. I just happen to have analyzed world currencies lately, and I have noticed it. Do you read the economist (there is a currencies column in one of their summary pages)?
The title of your thread tells me that you learned few things from shortie... including the subject matter and also forgetting to include the polls! Shortie Junior is in :)
I was thinking that Stock777 would comment in thread below. Surprised he did not so far.

I have never checked that stock (I know the site). I do not believe in that site future. Did you notice the low margins and huge PE?
Excellent comments Lucias!
I will check them. Thanks.
My interest in AAPL and AMZN is mainly because they are in the indices (qqq for instance).
Did anyone notice that both closed at bottom of range today? Is it saying something? Amazon has low margins.
1. Today GLD gapped down, yet put options premium went down. Market makers may have knows something.
2. 1:38PM: silver just touched 39.889. How did SLV do?
Update: Unless SLV on google is delayed, SLV is one 1 dollar off (management fees?).
Talking about watching: I was looking at Terra, and waiting for the gap to close as I thought it would go to 156. It came within 0.40 from closing. I hesitated, and it went up without me.
In this case, focus was not a good thing!
Do you find this market overpriced? Could you share your thoughts? I looked at the fancy stocks such as apple and amazon. I find them overpriced (particularly amazon). Why are people buying them?
Could you share stocks you find overpriced?
I find this guy's articles not consistent, but I am not making the effort to go in detail of what he wanted to say in both articles.
It is not a good sign for short side that he turned bearish when Gold went down yesterday.
