IB currently passes sporadic KOSPI data, no t&s, no volume, charts not updating, but DOM is moving. Anyone else?

    Ipad 2

Android devices are just as good as iPhone right now. I had an iPhone since their first in 2007. Really like it, and there is not a single compaling reason for me to switch to something else.

    nyc expo 2011 and question.

I live in NY, so it is really easy for me to get there. Like i said, you never know what you might come across. On the funny side, someone posted a thread after last NY expo about some girls who was selling some kind of stock/futures service, with the main selling point being her boobs. One...

    nyc expo 2011 and question.

I missed last year but went to the previous 4. My main reason is talking to some platform and data vendors and maybe seeing something new. You never know what might be out there. If the main reason for some was freebies then you probably doing something wrong, imho.

    International Futures Trading Platform

I use IB to trade K200, but would love to know if anything else is out there. About 4-5 years back I used PATS to trade DAX, and experienced the same issue mentioned earlier. This thread is bit old, but still looks like these issues still happen. Still weird that the most liquid contract...

How can you stop thinking in money terms?

That is not so hard. 1) only put money in trading acct that you can afford to loose. 2) think of pnl in tick terms.

Trader Racks Up a Second Epic Gain

Day trading is not dead and so is scalping. Things just evolved. Scalping is mostly automatic these days. And day trading is thriving for those who know what they are doing. However, nothing can beat OPM. That's my ultimate goal, but I am far from it yet.

    Tick Chart vs Minute Chart

Not necessarily , this is just one way to trade. I personally do not look at S/R at all, and just trade the momentum on high frequency charts.

Trader Racks Up a Second Epic Gain

All I can say is WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! $5 Billion Profit for John Paulson Hedge-fund manager John Paulson personally netted more than $5 billion in profits in 2010—likely the largest one-year haul in investing history, trumping the nearly $4 billion he made with his "short" bets...

New at trading: starting with Stocks, options, futures?

While sex paralel has some truths, it ain't a good one. BTW, I am only talking about futures trading. These days simulators with real time data on liquid contract are extremely good. The point is that unless consistently profitable on demo, no one should even try life trading. Once demo...

Trading Secrets For Sales. 200% returns possible.

As far as I know no hedge funds even close to doubling 10s of billions. I believe Simmons best year was 2000, where me made something around 97%. The best have around 30% a year on average acroos decades, which is amazing in all respects.

Trading Secrets For Sales. 200% returns possible.

Luck has nothing to do with it. It can be done year after year, but without automation 100% stops at around 500k-1mil, since this is where major futures markets liquidity start becoming an issue. Instantly executing few hundred ES contract a clip with no slippage is bit harder than 10-20...

    Tick Chart vs Minute Chart

It is true, minute charts are the worst to analyze price action for day trading. Buying and selling is what moves the price, not time. Depending of what a trader is looking to do tick, range and volume and more superior than fixes time fractals.
