lowest commissions for trading a few hundred futures round trips a day

If you require low latency, any of these will be slow. If you are point and click, the more hops and distance will create slowness, but you might not see it. Do you trade futures in Europe and US or just one? I'm not an expert on reducing delays on these set ups, but I assume you can work with...

lowest commissions for trading a few hundred futures round trips a day

Why would you have IT issues connecting to the USA? Do you need co-location with an automated platform or do you point-n-click with a platform like CQG or CTS?

    VIX Options

I have never followed the others or had clients that have traded them. This is the current VIX Feb 20 calls: VXN I don't think has options and VXST has very wide spreads.

No. No one should have that ability.

    VIX Options

Very liquid in the from month. I've seen 5K to 10K up in ATM and OTM options, plus the trading crowd.

    Any platforms show icebergs?

We don't do business with them. These are common order types. Check out CQG and CTS, they all do those things. No one should EVER show another client's hidden orders. Are your orders that large that you need to hide size? What is typical order size?

    Any platforms show icebergs?

To my knowledge, no one can see iceberg orders from others, or what would be the point. We can offer CTS with FC Stone if you are interested. bob

I would like to discuss this trade

Now I understand. This is not a stock but an FX market. There are two basic platforms for non-deliverable. (I'm not an expert on FX) The platform where you pay a commission per $1M traded or the kind when you pay the pip spread. The commission type, you can buy and the bid and sell on the offer...

I would like to discuss this trade

I'm not sure why the bid is higher than the ask. That can't be. Maybe a screen shoot would help. In general, if the best bid is 1.65 bid for 500 shares, and you need to sell stock at that second, that would be your price for up to 500 shares.

I would like to discuss this trade

Javier, I don't understand the question as you asked it. Also, I'm not sure what asset class this is. In general, there are no more specialists. There are DMMs (designated market makers) in both equities and options. They provide depth & liquidity where they choose to, not at prices that other...

Controlling heart rate in a trade

Without exception, my best trading days, months and years were the ones that made my adrenalin rush. When I was so busy, I would forget to eat lunch. I was an options MM trading my own money. You can't sit back and relax, especially before electronic quoting.

Stock borrowing rebate rate in IB

Where are you seeing this, on TWS, the web portal or on your daily sheets? It would be easier if I could see a screen shot so I can confirm if you are looking at a dollar amount or a percentage. Victor Securities also is an introducing broker to IB. I don't do a lot of business there but if you...

Controlling heart rate in a trade

When your heart rate increases it's a good thing. It keeps your mind sharp and means you are having fun. You don't want to be too relaxed when you trade. It should be exciting. IMO, stops should not be too tight. You can't always pick the exact move. You have to leave room for some error and...

I don't know anyone that would charge that. However, when you say" a few hundred futures round trips, if that is 200 RT, are you referring to 400 contracts or 200 contracts per day.

AMD or Intel for Trading with 4 monitors with eSignal for around 20 charts?

I have built PCs in the past. Maybe 8 of them. Last time was 4 years ago. The guy that taught me how to go about picking the components said he liked Intel better, so I always used Intel. When I read about the I7, it seems pretty bad ass. If the AMD is just as good, you won't notice the...

AMD or Intel for Trading with 4 monitors with eSignal for around 20 charts?

I'm not sure it makes a difference as long as you get a quad core, 64 bit OS and lots of RAM. But I prefer the i7.
