I think NQ hits 18800 today, so ES should follow suit until that is tagged. 42 looked good at the time, but could go further of course. Let's see where she goes. :)

It's an interesting topic, actually. It seems like many (and I'm guilty of it too) trade for other reasons than making money. IMHO, trading should only be about making money or trading well (with making money being the outcome).

Because NQ can't facilitate 50-100 contracts per clip. ;) I trade ES mostly out of habit having done a ton of homework on it. If I were to start all over, maybe I'd go for NQ instead. From what I've observed, ES is cleaner, more orderly and more predictable while NQ is a bit more dirty. Even...

Market got stuck below mid-range after that sell. Green close above 30, probably, but remains to be seen if there's enough juice to pop back up towards 40. Not much to lean on here from my view, except that the short side is probably limited intraday.

NQ is up over 0,65 % at the moment and barely dipped below mid-range on that break. Without participation from NQ, I don't think ES will sell further either.

I think we close green and could hit 5340 again, but have been reading the afternoon poorly.

Momentum fizzled out. Seems like summer trading is here. If you can't trade the RTH Open or Close, probably not worth the bother these days. Stepping away for a bit. I have a limit sell at 52 unless my stop hits. Could have reduced the risk a bit now, but you never know if we'll get another...

Moved stop to 37. Should have the PB low in this area unless I get it completely wrong.

Stopped for a 4.75 point loss. Re-entered long at 42. EDIT: Stop at 39.

Average is 45.75. Stop on entire position at 41.75. EDIT: Putting stop at 40. Target is a push above 50. Maybe 55-60.

Add one at 46.75.
