    Explain todays massive rally eod

I tend to enter 1/2 early on the proprietary patterns and 1/2 into the herd-driven surge past the traditional chart pattern breaks. Makes me feel safer getting in front of and then riding the wave of those known, expected positions to come

    Explain todays massive rally eod

seriously... it is second-to-last session in a calendar month, designated window-dress rally day. Fundamentally this one tries to rally at all costs, every month. This time it was a final-hour gasp on Rosh Hashanah volume NBD... pretty much everyone was done trading for the day well before...

    btw... what's a dyed-in-wool CL trader doing in the ES arena, anyways? Hope you are doing well and getting better all the time, young lady {grin}

    Explain todays massive rally eod

that's too complicated... the core pattern was a lot simpler than that, and likewise inside of that formation. By the time descending trendline broke, key pattern confirm from 1139.50 -> 1140.00 ES was already triggered and confirmed. But there's nothing wrong with those bar-by-bar entry...

<i>"Instead of thinking about where you are, think about where you want to be. It takes twenty years of hard work to become an overnight success" <b> {Diana Rankin}</i></b> That concludes my week of tech analysis contributions here. Everything I had to share has been shared. Those who wish to...

It was a day of moderate-range consolidation, overall. Many tradeable swings inside a session with no trend. Any skilled trader had ample opportunity to cash in, anyone who did not cash in has ample time and opportunity to accquire those skills. CM RoadMap objectives were not fulfilled...

The differences between serious trading and hobby gambling (other than lifespan until the money runs out) include creating your own plan, executing it, holding yourself accountable to the results, and repeating that process. ES gave oodles of buy signals off the lows there this morning. An...

agreed... it is actually the Russell that leads all markets versus SOX or NDX of yesteryears. 1070 ES is the early August lows, and more likely than not it trades again real soon. Might not be the overall volume as before, because most of that was fund redemptions puked out which won't be...

Globex low in late August was ES 1040s premarket which never got tested intraday... that will be widely watched for a potential double bottom ahead. If they lift this to gap-fill at yesterday's close and stalls, I'm shorting the confirms and holding swing trades to 1050 or below. imo we are a...

Fact is there were long trades, several of them that worked from signals confirmed for +4pts to +10pts in those afternoon spikes. There were also an equal number of sells confirmed going the opposite direction... back down. That 5min chart view has little to do with actual trade decisions I...

Can the average blue-collar person w/ high school education get rich thru Trading?

Quote from emg: there are tons of successful traders with a proper college degrees making more than $50K per month in the house. U should work in the house and go figure small trader. P.S There is barrier to entry to work in the house with a proper qualification just like a medical doctor...

Pretty typical gap & no fill session. Spastic, erratic and gyrational... with continuations of the "trend" coming from sharp v-turns off higher-high springs = traps. Price kept testing and rejecting the bottom of open range as it usually does during these days. Mix in a little bit of European...

If they take it upside past the news... especially if it goes up, back down and up again near = past 3pm est, look for 1212 ~ 1216 zone to hit. If they spike up there early and stall, could easily be highs of the day. Best trading conditions, i.e. straight swings will begin past 2:45pm and...

Can the average blue-collar person w/ high school education get rich thru Trading?

In this profession, there are no barriers of entry except for time, effort and desire. Anyone of sound mind and stable emotions can be anything they are willing to work for until the end. Fact is, most who think they want to "try" trading and see how it goes have zero desire to see the entire...

Actually, the market doesn't know anything at all, right now today. That's why indexes are seven weeks into a clear consolidation mode with no direction or trend. Soon the markets will get the information they need to break the stalemate indecision and begin next valuation adjustment (trend)...

The whole world watches U.S. stock index markets in the latter stages of an act that only happens once every calendar year on average, or less. For the past six weeks (completed) and now into its seventh, the S&P 500 futures are winding themselves into a tight consolidation pattern. The term...

Can the average blue-collar person w/ high school education get rich thru Trading?

Anyone can... but damn few will. Most fail because they simply aren't willing to climb that proverbial mountain in front of them. Most fail because they think this is some kind of gambler's nintendo game. Trading is not any of that :)
