    LABD Option Question

After I unloaded all of my call options at 0.25, it's now at $0.40 spindr0: Predict is the wrong word usage. No need for a sarcastic attitude. I'm trying to build a track record. My trades are tracked on FundSeeder. It's doing ok. I'm trying to quantify it and build systematic/quantitative...

    LABD Option Question

OK. Makes sense. I was able to get out most of my call positions which previously didn't even have a bid! Whew. I hope I don't regret getting out now and it shoots up by Friday. I only have 1 left. I got in at average price of 0.14 and sold most of it at 0.25. Not bad. But now it's at 0.10x0.30

    LABD Option Question

Strangest thing! The bid is 0.10 and the ask is 0.20. Yet I was able to sell two times in batches of 5 lots at 0.25. How is that possible? Some hidden exchange I'm not away of? Should have sold more... Let's see how it goes

    LABD Option Question

Just as predicted. LABD is now 5.50x5.51 and the IB is showing the ask of 0.30. But no bid.. LOL. :( I want to get out. Suppose by Friday it's in the money, but there's no bid?? Then it will just expired worthless? WTF? P.S. Now that it's 5.55 there's a bid at 0.05.. That bid needs to go up...

    LABD Option Question

That makes sense. It closes at $5.40. Maybe I should have bought a longer dated option to express my view. hehe. If it goes to $6 by Friday then my LABD call options will be worth more than a dime each... :)

    LABD Option Question

So, I bought some LABD call options with strike of 5.5 and expiration of Nov 17(this friday) a while back. Underlying LABD stock is now around 5.40 and I think it will hit 5.50 if not more by today and the rest of the week. Yet, the call is quoted as $.10 in my IB account. I know time to...

It would take an ‘immaculate conception’ to create bear market in stocks right now: analyst

By far, my WORST trading & investing mistake was buying TVIX and holding it thinking it's the absolute low. It can go a LOT LOT lower... Without that stupid mistake, I would have been up nicely... I feel so frustrated and been run above by this bull market... haha

It would take an ‘immaculate conception’ to create bear market in stocks right now: analyst

What would be the Black Swan this time around? Generals fight the last war as they say. So, it's not subprime mortgages, not portfolio insurance, etc. What would be the catalyst for a crash? In the meantime, stay long and enjoy the rally...

It would take an ‘immaculate conception’ to create bear market in stocks right now: analyst

I hate to say this but I actually believe this now. I used to be a bear but now I've been reformed and think this will continue for a while. I know the crash is coming from my own proprietary TA analysis and research. But who knows when. Maybe it could be 1month to as long as 8-9 months away I...

Hi Guys, I know you guys don't know who I am nor I know who you are. But I feel like updating to you. Yesterday, I was laid off at the nice corporate job I was talking about. I have 1.5 month severance and lots of savings. So, no worries financially at least for a while. Now, I'm back to the...

Thank you for your compliments and wise advices. I learned the hard way about daytrading fulltime from 2001-2003. Those were darkest years of my life when I quit a good paying corporate job to do daytrading FT without a freaking clue. haha. Young and foolish. I'm glad I was able to re-enter the...

Handle123, Just to update. I finally landed a job that paid the same level as my last management level position at a tech company! This is no mean feat after months of looking while consulting on the side. Ironically around that same time, I had like 3 job offers and it was so hard to decide...

Back to the future Ray Dalio, founder, Bridgewater Associates, explains why the 1930s hold clues to

haha. I think Ray Dalio is saying that we ARE in the same phase as 1935-1945. So, we are not waiting for 75 years. It's happening starting 2017 forward is my surmise of what he's saying. He might have a good macro-economics basis for his arguments and is much better qualified to speak on those...

This guy says the bull market is already starting... Where was he since 2009?

I haven't looked at the long term charts in a while. WOW! Can't believe this could really be a start of a new bull market.. Or the biggest head fake ever. Time will tell

Thanks for the perspective. In no uncertain terms will I be daytrading full-time! Been there, done that already(back in 2001-2003). My plan is 1) Continue my consulting to keep my afloat 2) Continue to look for appropriate level jobs and don't settle until I find something right. Since I do...

Interesting take on this. My consulting business is doing fine, but like any new biz it will take time to ramp up. My clients are happy so far and there's potential to expand further since I haven't even expend efforts on the biz dev side of things( don't even have a website, no marketing...
