CNBC's Mad Money to be cancelled... Cramer to join Fast Money May 1st

Man, I almost died of joy there on your first post. Now back to the misery...

    Tax cuts and war

How does Bush promote conservative economic policies? All I see him doing is spending like there is no tomorrow. I count myself as a liberal and I don't hate America and don't hate capitalism. Everything is not black and white. Christianity has its merits but it has also been used to...

    Naked Short Selling

Gee, maybe the article was written because the stocks may be overvalued. I mean that couldn't possibly be it, right? It must be a conspiracy theory where Greenberg is purposefully trying to drive PRICES down and therefore get paid off by naked short sellers! It is all about PRICE isn't it...

Cheap, 'safe' drug kills most cancers

And what are your credentials? When was the cowpox vaccination started? Could it be that people didn't understand and could not detect cancer as easily at that point in time?

    FU Jim Cramer

What if Cramer says something like "I am more important than god!"? He'd probably get fired for that - somebody make it happen!

    FU Jim Cramer

Ok, maybe not. I can dream though. Anything to get him off TV would be fine with me. Somebody should call in to his show and provoke Cramer to the point where he blurts out an Imus-like career threatening remark.

IB"security"...nearly cost me my job. awful

Here is the title of this thread: IB"security"...nearly cost me my job. awful Now if someone starts an accusing thread title like that, alarm bells go off in my head. There have been numerous instances where people will start accusatory threads against IB and they aren't merited. Why...

But it is inherent in your argument that the prices of these companies are too low because of naked shorting. So the points that the previous poster brings up are in fact valid to this whole discussion.

IB"security"...nearly cost me my job. awful

I know another IB account holder that switched his wire destination twice within 30 days or something like that and his account got flagged for review. Is this solely an IB restriction?

IB"security"...nearly cost me my job. awful

Don't brokerages have to abide by certain wiring rules after the Patriot Act, post 9/11? I thought there was some rule about suspicioius activity being flagged because of the frequent changing of your wiring destination. I am probably just making this up, but I seem to remember that IB has...

IB"security"...nearly cost me my job. awful

Problem is that no other place matches IB in terms of the whole package. I wish there were a good alternative for a real backup somewhere else, but I haven't found any.

http://www.interactivebrokers.com/en/accounts/secureTransactionProgram.php?ib_entity=llc Looks like STP applies for all account types except for Broker in which case there are no withdrawal restrictions. Which class do you fall in?

IB"security"...nearly cost me my job. awful

If the customer had signed up for the STP program, none of this would be an issue. It is his own fault for not signing up for the STP program. For him to start this thread to publicly bash IB about something under his own control makes him look like a whiner to me. As for the $100k a day...
