    ES "Too Efficient"

That makes sense Steve, but my argument to that is you will not see that type of price action as often on the NQ, ER2 or EC. Which is why the ES can be said it is 'too efficient'.

    ES "Too Efficient"

EXACTLY MY POINT STEVE!!!!!!!!!!! Since we know that the big professionals are trading the ES and we know the little guys want a piece of goliath, that can be reasoning for the movements on the ES. I understand the OP completely. Let's look at it like this: pull up intraday charts of the...

    ES "Too Efficient"

Tony, Great observations! Are you also watching NQ, ER2 and/or EC charts as well? You may want to at least look at one other chart just for comparison purposes. Obviously there is something going on in the ES, as you have demonstrated, to an extreme when compared to the other e-mini's.

    ES "Too Efficient"

Crast - you have to listen to SOME poker players out there, it has been stated before and makes perfect sense.

    ES "Too Efficient"

Preston also understands the gist of my comments. The ES is by far the most popular e-mini, which would indicate that this is the instrument of choice by traders - pro or otherwise. Can a whole bunch of 1-5 lots create extra noise on the ES? Depending when those orders come through, sure they...

Tony - I think you got the point of what I was trying to say. I apologize if my descriptions are not perfect with pinpoint accuracy, which apparently is what ET's expect... :D

    ES "Too Efficient"

Well, all hail King Trader Steve46 b/c apparently on an anonymous message board it's very easy to call people out. I have to assume that you are referring to my post. So, if someone posts something that you disagree with, that person is an 'amateur'. Please, do explain what exactly an amateur...

    ES "Too Efficient"

Tony, I think it means that there is so much volume there that this can hinder movements vs helping it. And I would agree with that statement 100%. I trade mainly the ES, NQ and EC. When the EC wants to trend, watch out! When the ES and NQ provide setups at the same time, most times my NQ...

    Bloody RED Day Yesterday

Astrologer - OK, I think I understood what was being said there. All I did was run the numbers. I didn't say that PureTick was good or bad, I just simply said that if you are making less than 14 YM points per day, then PureTick is a good option. If you are making more, it's not worth the fee...

    statistics of losing traders

You bring up some valid points... Can this statistic be validated? If so, how and by whom? Vendors? Brokers? I would venture to say that like many businesses, the longer you are in the trade, the more likely you are to be successful. For example, when I was a stockbroker we knew that 60-75%...

    New Blog for Day TRADERS!

The logice makes sense, but if the actual owner(s) of the site trade 3, I would think that 3 is the number everything should be based off of. But, it is what it is.

    Collective2

I was replying to the original poster that asked about using Collective2. If you are a great trader making money on your own, there is no need for Collective2. The extra hassles, time and energy is not worth it to the trader pulling in thousands of dollars per day. Now, if you are looking...

    Collective2

If you can make a system that makes money, you will get subscribers and in turn make money. Is the website perfect? No, but that should not stop you from publishing. My guess it that some people posted a system that failed and then blaimed the software b/c of it. I believe you get some trial...

I Blew Up - What Now?

Everything is what you make of it and how you put it on a resume. Sounds like you need some help, so I would seek out a resume writing professional that can help you construct your resume in a way that makes the last 2 years sound GREAT, not a terrible waste of time. For example: you owned...

Looking for someone serious about trading

Keep it simple in the beginning Chris. There are tons of indicators, charting setups, etc. out there. Keep in mind that any new business has a learning curve. To say that you've been at it for a month is nothing. You have MANY, MANY more months/years to go before you may get it. The question...

Anonymous websurfing - is it needed?

I was reading a few articles earlier that anonymous web surfing is a good idea when you shop online, do business online, etc. I guess I viewed this type of surfing for those just wanting to avoid some sort of detection. In light of that, do guys here use anonymous websurfing software? If so...
