    order execution question

If you understand the tool, and what can happen to an order, you may be able to produce an order that will be satisfactory. Ie... with TOS, you can use the trigger condition you mentioned, then constrain your Option order to be a limit order offset from the MARK at the time the Trigger fires...

    Etrade options marking methodology

IF you require accurate near real-time PnL tracking, you may want to investigate other tools to address that (that don't pull the rug out from under you). (Assuming your broker does not address this quickly). OptionNetExplorer, was good the last time I used it. You may also create your own...

Iron Condor - Credit received vs. Profit in Analyse chart

Go to TOS Chat->Seminars-> Then search for "Analyze", then watch some lessons on using the TOS Analyze Tab. Seems you have not comprehended my posts detailing your error.

Iron Condor using TOS - Profits and Losses

I suspect the TOS P/L Day and P/L YTD is valid and perhaps useful. I am GUESSING you are referencing the "Account Statement" -- it is preferred that you do not over-generalize your questions, so responses can match your inquiry. I do not use the TOS % P/L, as my interest is % of my risk, which...

    order execution question

You can do that with TOS. The identification of the CALL will be via the unique opra symbol, so you will need to modify your order, if you want it to continue for a different expiration (if the trigger takes longer than the existence of the initial CALL you may prefer.)

    Etrade options marking methodology

To get better precision, there are a number of steps PRIOR to "using the mid-point" that are necessary to insure IV is more precise. Any perceived need for smothing of IV on high liquidity products suggest a "fly in the ointment", IMHO. BTW: This is only a response to "OCC will start by taking...

    Etrade options marking methodology

I agree with Bob! MID is best. While the algo referenced for sometime using LAST sounds logical on the surface, it is NOT better than MID for representing the price for making decisions!

Iron Condor - Credit received vs. Profit in Analyse chart

I "think" he is just not yet familiar with the tool (TOS). Using their PlayMoney "Simulated Trading", is a great way to get familiar with TOS, without risking money for working out kinks with the tool. The "fill" values, are not necessarily realistic, as it assumes fills at the MID, for the...

moolah: Did you remove either your "position" or your "simulated trade" to get rid of the duplicate trades, causing your extra $7 mystery? -- Take one off, unless you want the duplication.

Iron Condor - Credit received vs. Profit in Analyse chart

Down near the bottom left of your Analyze page, change "Show All" to "Hide Simulations"! You may have a simulation plus your actual trade, which represents your duplication. I notice that the scroll bar on the lower right is indicating information you are not displaying -- scrolling to them...

Iron Condor - Credit received vs. Profit in Analyse chart

Can you paste a screen shot of the entire Analyze page? There could be an issue we can spot, that you may not have noticed! -- You can use a number of programs for that, or even from TOS:

    LABD Option Question

    1) you are trading an ill-liquid product 2) The BID/ASK values are dynamic 3) The BID/ASK do no reflect a market order. For other ill-liquid products, I have been amazed at how my small QTY Limit order, was able to significantly alter the BID/ASK value and sizes. -- It seemed algorithmic...

Did you try "bouncing" TOS? -- Terminate, then start TOS again? -- While the exact issue you observe, I have not seen, I have had many others, that killing, then restarting did resolve.

You may have that IC duplicated in your simulated trades -- see if you can unclick one, if so.

Here is what I see. I do not understand where you find $14. Perhaps you are modeling 2 contracts? (arrow should be at the 7.00 value, not at the lower expiry line.)

Iron Condor - Credit received vs. Profit in Analyse chart

Can you specify what you "really did"? Sounds like you may have sold an IC for a credit to open, ... but then you state "I bought 100 shares." We are limited to reading what you wrote, as opposed to what you should have stated! (If you use TOS, I may be able to assist)
