Icahn as of late does not have much success bullying large cap co's. I bet he wishes he waited until after earnings to add to his position.

In healthy economies it is ok to raise rates...what is happening now is for diff reasons. This is happening way too late in my opinion. US will have to follow suit.

If inflation was not a concern feds would stand pat on bond purchases. I know the $ does not go as far as it did 10+ years ago for me personally. Education and housing is just stupid expensive. Not sure where the cpi data comes from but it is far from accurate just like the employment %...

Turkey raised lending rates by a gazillion. Not sure how that is net positive for the mkts. Probably stop run in low liq mkt.

My belief is they already rescued the banks and corporations. Both have record cash on sheets even if it is note driven. The gamble may pay off but lots of assumptions. We all better pray really hard that another bubble doesn't burst cause they have nothing left to throw at it without risking...
