Your infatuation with what others think is pretty funny. I didn't care about the polls in 2016 and voted for my choice, Trump. I don't care about the polls now, I like the policies that I voted for.

The data was garbage in garbage out. What changed as the election neared is that Trump supporters became more certain of his win and declared their support when polled. The poll numbers changed but the reality of the outcome didn't. Trump was leading for quite awhile, pollsters just didn't know it.
