    WizeTrade comments

Someone who is making this kind of money WOULD NOT be on a message board asking if WizeTrade is a good investment. I find it hard to believe that a profitable trader could not tell in an instant that this product is a scam.

    I will code your strategy

I have an end of day system I have automated that is coded in VB6. Would C++ be much faster than VB6 given that the main drag is between my program talking to TWS? fan27

Outsourcing the death of the economy!

Here is the way I look at it: There is a limited amount of capitol on this planet (This, I think most of us can agree on). If a Chinaman can produce a widget for $1.00 and it costs a US worker $10.00 to make the same widget, it makes sense to let the chinaman make the widget. So where does...

    Simple System for Beginners

Waiting for a pullback ruins the system ( I tested it ). You are assured a fill on losers and will only sometimes get a fill on winners. A version of the system tests very well on ZN (10 year note). Now all I have to do is make sure my ZN data is accurate. fan27

    Simple System for Beginners

I have tested a version of this system this evening on the 10 year note (ZN) and the results were very good. I used the same percentages for entry but entered much earlier in the session. The only problem is I got my ZN data on the cheap and don't feel very confident in its accuracy. If...

    Quadriga Superfund - Managed Futures

What about the current market conditions seem to be giving the Managed futures industry so much trouble? What type of methods do they usually employ that aren't working anymore? Thanks Fan27

    4 down days

Good Point. I went ahead and tested this on the S&P 500 cash index going back to 1982 ($50,000 = 1 unit. Add 1 unit after each loss. Go back to 1 unit after a win). There were 3 down years: 1986 : -2392 1989: -854 1991: -111 Long Trades 223 Winning Trades 136 Losing Trades...

    4 down days

Here is an interesting twist to the system. Add "1 unit" after each loss (Go Back to normal size after a win). The profits nearly double and the MAX DD actually goes down. Long Trades 91 Winning Trades 65 Losing Trades 26 Win Rate 0.714285714285714 Point gain\loss...
