You mean in order to automate it? No, Zulutrade just provides intermediary execution service, the rest is up to trader.

What you mean by coding one's system?

Some people are pretty consistent playing ORB even on such a choppy instrument as ES... NoD just gave away excellent idea, but I bet nobody will care as usual. :)

:D Really, a couple of such moves a month (and I guess they are much more frequent in CL) and no need to trade the rest of time, ha... Will watch it (first hours of trading at least due to my timezone) and maybe do some paper trading to get a better feel.

Yea, I also heard Euro traders often watch oil as an intermarket indicator. Technically have the same impression so far: pretty much similar to 6E but much higher amplitude of swings.

Who ever said "exact science"? Just the practical skill. What the problem do you have with anything that is not exact science? Just trade it and stop thinking too much already. Thinking more won't help you in this business, believe me, all structural edges are already found by top institutions...

Agree with you NoD, just doubt my, yours or one old man's we both are so grateful to trading can be automated in the sense of creating computer algo which would trade it just as well. Maybe I'm wrong, but I hardly can imagine a software code which would be able to consider these relations...

I will not argue with those who say TA can be automated. Probably can be, I don't know. But I almost sure can say what I do can't be automated for the simple reason stated above: too much data to process. This is the field where human brain is still much superior to even the best computers...

By "confessions" I mean you saying that as a journalist you intentionally challenge people to get certain reaction. :) I somewhat agree with you about TA in a sense that stuff which works for me or NoDoji can hardly be automated for a simple reason: it is not as mechanical as many think. Yes...

Surf, you're so consistent that after your recent confessions I come to conclusion you intentionally post certain calls to attract as much traffic as you can and in reality you probably trade... differently. Am I right? :)
