w00t w00t! :D I was planning to hold this last trade as a swing position, but it came so close to Pokito's call end of day that I took the money and ran.

I've convinced myself that this still qualifies as a "swing trade" because I held the position for an entire 3 1/2 hours, which (and I'm sure Robert Weinstein will support me on this) is like an eternity to us ADD traders!

OK, scratch that and replace with +$960. I shorted ES @ 1109.00 intended as a swing trade, but couldn't resist taking the profits on that selloff.

I couldn't do it! I just couldn't! This freakin' market's been buying up every dip at higher and higher lows and I HAD TO TAKE PROFITS! I covered @ 1099.50 (at the 20 EMA on the daily chart and a deep channel line overshoot on the 5-min intraday chart) for +$470.20, 960.60 on the day. :cool:

OK, I put on my first ES swing trade, 1 car short @ 1109.00, stop now @ 1107.50, but man am I itching to just take this $350.....
