Prop Trading Firms - Note On Threatening Regulatory Developments

Well, of course they wrap their oppression in pretty (but empty) words. Bad goverments always do that. Just because they call it the Ministry of Love, doesn't mean you should go there expecting group hugs.

Prop Trading Firms - Note On Threatening Regulatory Developments

I don't understand. Why would the SEC do anything to help anyone? Why would they do anything constructive at all? The sole function of government is to repeatedly fuck us over while calling it 'Liberty', hands in our pockets and boots on our throats. Would you expect the mafia to post a...

Here's what would happen: You'd speak to someone who has no clue what's going on, and no motivation to find out for you.

Internet troll sentenced to 30 months in prison!

'Hate crime' laws are not necessary. Was it legally permissible to beat up ethnic minorities and homosexuals before the enactment of those laws?

Will the Fed pause on Tuesday?

OMG! :D BNT, even if we do go into recession, the mkt won't necessarily drop all the way down to your strikes. There are many character flaws a trader can get away with, and still become successful. However, stubbornness isn't one of them.

Prop Trading Firms - Note On Threatening Regulatory Developments

Ok, I pulled myself together and found out what's going on. I can't go into detail, but I now share the same position as Mav & Don. At this point it looks like only sleazy firms have a problem. Reputable firms should be ok.

Recent college lost in the world of trading!

Any prop firm that pretends to "hire" their clients to a "job" is not reputable, and should be avoided at all costs. They've already lied- that's all you need to know.

Most Dangerous? American Black's or Iraqis

Don't take this the wrong way, but wouldn't it be accurate, then, to say you care nothing for your country? As long as you're fine, to hell with the rest of the plebs. (I mean, caring about those poor bastards would be 'collectivist', right, and we can't have that. -----> A) They're proles...

Most Dangerous? American Black's or Iraqis

It still bothers me, but not nearly as much as this country's rapid descent into fascism. Why? I can easily escape from the the crack whores and the gangbangers. With my money and my strong preference for rural living, I'm nowhere near the front lines of that battle. The government, on...

Most Dangerous? American Black's or Iraqis

Sure, there are millions of unwed, unemployed American women who crank out one kid after another, with absolutely no intention of providing for their needs... But you're an Australian, Dan. How does any of that affect you? Why would you care?

Most Dangerous? American Black's or Iraqis

You're right, nearly all of the American ethnic groups shun the act of rioting. That's exactly why the Bush regime has been able to cross out large sections of our Constitution. Every week the gov't pulls more shit. Every week the nation becomes less free. Make no mistake, a riot or two...

Most Dangerous? American Black's or Iraqis

In Israel, between the Ethiopian Jewish immigrants and the non-resident African laborers, black people aren't uncommon at all. ... but black crime? Unheard of, believe it or not. On the other side of the fence, in the so-called Palestinian territories, there is also a sizable black African...

Will the Fed pause on Tuesday?

This is an old thread, discussing the August Fed meeting. One fellow was enthusiastically describing a trade he was heavily piling his cash into. I warned him about the trade, letting him know that his account was "on a collision course with disaster". Several other traders then agreed...
