Why is no one talking about the S&P500 P/E ratio?

They leave it out because it's volatile and could easily skew the data up or down from month to month, not showing a true picture of actual inflation.

    Bullish On The Dollar

If you're bearish on all of the main currencies, then what are you bullish on? How can this be? All major currencies can't depreciate against themselves...

Bible cant be true because of million year old fossils/carbon dating...right?

That's what I don't understand either. They reject the Big Band Theory because they think it's prepostorous that something came from nothing etc. etc. yet it makes perfect sense that "god" just snapped his fingers like a genie and everything magically appeared. The truth of the matter is...

    up 70 % in 3 months, 1000 max drawdown

I don't understand your comment. To clarify my question, I was asking how he knows when a trade has gone wrong and must exit? Or does he average down into oblivion?

More Evidence Great Depression II Is Here: 30mm Unemployed in U.S. (19% of workforce)

People living in third world conditions does not make me laugh...What makes me laugh is the fact that so many Americans have so little faith in their government/citizens to pull themselves out of this mess. The USA will not become a third world country, no matter how much negative speculation...

    up 70 % in 3 months, 1000 max drawdown

Curiosity - if you don't use stops, how do you know when to exit a trade that has gone against you? Also, was your $1000 drawdown a result of a trade going against you that perhaps could have been minimized by having a stop loss in place?

I have yet to see you make one single post that constitutes a logical argument to any point you make. Instead, out come the name calling and insults. Welfare? You know nothing about me. I will now let you continue to embarrass yourself with flames.

Settle down Anaconda. Computer building business must be hurting to warrant so much hostility and name calling. Has anyone considered the fact that millions of jobs will automatically be created when baby boomers retire/die? I have not heard much discussion on this topic. Someone earlier...

I respect your opinion, but based on the facts that I see, I'm not buying it. Perhaps I am overly confident in the resolve of the USA, or perhaps the economy isn't nearly as bad in Canada as you are seeing in the States, but I can't see another depression coming any time in the near future...

Fair enough. You obviously have more Russian experience than I do. I think the confusion comes from my definition of third world country. As a previous poster has explained, third world countries are not the poorest of the poor, which I had assumed they were. But no matter what your...

    Carry Trade again?

Thank you for clarifying. What constitues a "day"? Does it depend on market close of the respective currency? i.e. I hold USD @ time of market close in NY. I am then paid any positive carry on open positions at that time?

You are a joke. Have you ever been to a third world country? Maybe some PARTS of Russia could be considered "third world", just as some parts of ANY country could be considered third world, but the country as a whole is nothing compared to actual third world countries (i.e. some countries in...
