How to read this VOLUME chart ?

Ditto. (Embarrassed I didn't see that. Forgot my Yogi-ism, "you can observe a lot just by watching".) Helpful for trading? I think NOT. (Volume considerations are not part of K.I.S.S. trading methodology.)

How to read this VOLUME chart ?

Maybe it's just pretty colors to delight your senses and keep you from boredom. Try changing the color scheme to "hollow" and "solid" instead of red/green.... see if there are still similar cryptic changes. (I prefer cyan color with hollow/solid on a black background.)

How to read this VOLUME chart ?

I've never seen volume bars of different colors. Adds confusion? Yet another reason to disregard volume completely for making trading decisions.

Is it possible to consistently make $5000 a month trading 2 index futures contracts per trade ?

If you could count on making 2 points per day on average, you could do it trading 2-lots. First, however, you should trade 1-lots and sharpen your skills.

Legal immigrants to be barred from citizenship

I think you're too liberal/accomodating. America had previously an immigration policy of "merit". (1) Immigrants needed to be vetted and have skills America desires and could benefit from, and (2) you agree to assimilating into "become American"... leaving your prior homeland allegiance*...

    Price action: The holy grail?

Actually, not. There is no such thing as "genuine confirmation"... volume or otherwise. I know, I know... My poo-pooing the worth of "volume" is market/trading heresy. True nonetheless.

Isn't this a no brainer trade?

Doubt there are any genuine "no brainer" trades. (Otherwise, nobody would take the other side.) There are some "highly correlated" ones, however.

    Price action: The holy grail?

D'OH! Where have you been? (The Simpsons reference in case you didn't catch this.) A trader's objective has always been to have his profit/risk position "in tune" with the market. "Price TA analysis" is the best (only?) way to achieve it. "Price TA" indicates what players are actually doing...

    The Conservative Principle

This is from 75 years ago. Notice how far our freedoms have deteriorated and our oppressions have increased since. The Lefty, Libtard, Democraps have been chipping away at America for more than 100 years. Their ultimate objective is to transform America into a Communist-like, government...

Apparently ”bull market” is an ambiguous term

Your frame of reference is too short. Should be longer than the recent relentless bull market. It has been a "BTFD, give the benefit of the doubt to the longs" market. It isn't always thus. (You say your "shorts have been disatrous". No surprise. They mostly should have been.)

Apparently ”bull market” is an ambiguous term

Thinking "the trend is always up, so nothing else matters" isn't productive for trading.

Apparently ”bull market” is an ambiguous term

Not always. The bear markets 2000-2003 and 2007-2009 were in down trends. Individual issues can be bearish for years and never recover.

Apparently ”bull market” is an ambiguous term

If a move doesn't change the trend direction, it's just "noise". That's a lot different from today where a dip of 3 days brings out cries of "where's the Fed? Where's the PPT to stop the decline"? It's all "intervention and manipulation" whereas years ago the markets were about "value and...

Winning, Losing & BetSize trading the ES

But it doesn't. Looking at the ES DOM right now... there's a bid bulge @ 2849.50... for 1 tic. You think that's "significant" and/or "tradable"... enough to put some money on it?
  15. Scataphagos

Winning, Losing & BetSize trading the ES

The only "value" in the DOM is to indicate how much slippage you might incur for a trade of size.... reveals nothing about S/R or future direction of price.

Apparently ”bull market” is an ambiguous term

Study historical price. Used to be the market would advance in an up channel with -25% dips as "noise", not changing the overall channel up-trend. Those dips did not have the "negative time and psychological despair" characteristics of bear markets... but rather uncomortable short-term...

Apparently ”bull market” is an ambiguous term

The notion that "-20% down is a bear market" is total nonsense. Years ago, a -25% dip was considered just "noise". A bear market is about 2 things.... 1. Price pattern of lower highs and lower lows 2. Time.... relentless downside psychology, day after day, month after month... so that...

Winning, Losing & BetSize trading the ES

Shesh. Seems y'all need a lesson in fishing. IOW, "cast your bait where the fish likely are".

Apparently ”bull market” is an ambiguous term

For a trader knowing the definition of "bull/bear" market is irrelevant... abiguous or not. You make money by being on the right side of market price (and lose for being on the wrong side).
