As I said about 2 cycles ago.. The average of crap is crap. Averaging skewed polls gives you an average skewed poll. 538 adopted the unskew the polls methodology but they seem to unskew in a very skewed manner.

I don't have an opinion on the turnout. The algo I put together years ago says we should look to the last two elections in the cycle. So a proper poll could sample 2 to 5 more dems more or less. I think 2 or 3 would be about perfect.

So instead of calling it over sampling. lets call it overweighting. The polls which gave biden larger leads Over weight Dems.
