Not convinced either way so far, wouldn't the open interest lag. The 1270 strike had more volume did it not? The idea makes sense and vol did call the close above 1340.

on expiration day you see some huge block trades. For example yesterday morning a huge block traded (relatively speaking). Hard to know who it is though. Big size on the spy at $134.64.
