    Is BTC Reloading?

I'll check out tradingview. I have a subscription with stockcharts. Might have to change.

    Is BTC Reloading?

I wouldn't think weekly or daily would make that much difference. Or would moving the line down rather than hovering.

    Is BTC Reloading?

Why do you think that the trend line drawn from the November high through the March high ends up in two different places? Yours at 20K and mine closer to 30k?

Before I Worry About SnP Being Overpriced

A quick look at the weekly chart gave me second thoughts.

I know this doesn't apply to BTC but isn't proof of stake a debt mechanism. If BTC becomes the currency of choice won't people be lending it out to earn interest? What ever currency governments use, they will have to borrow to fund spending on long term infrastructure.

Where would you invest $1mm today? (pick 2)

Where ever I invested it I would have a method of protecting my capital. Who knows what will happen in a couple years. At this moment cash looks good.

But don't you need some sort of fiat in order to value bitcoin?

Score system to filter out agitator trolls in sections (politics)

LOL Now you want me to figure out WHY certain posters act the way they do? Hell, I'm having trouble figuring out why I'm reacting to their posts the way I do. :)

Score system to filter out agitator trolls in sections (politics)

If the opinion is correct but unpopular, how many likes is the poster likely to get? The easiest solution is that if you don't feel that another participant is offering anything of value, hit the ignore button. Or just stop reading and responding to their posts.

    Stock News

Why do you need the news? Do you want to know what's going to happen? I don't think anyone knows and if they do it's already priced in the market. Or do you want to know why something has happened? (like why a stock tanked or took off). It doesn't really matter, it has already happened. For...

Investors ditch the euro and pound for Bitcoin in record numbers as their value plummets

Fair enough. Maybe when you get a little older and the roller coaster ride isn't quite as exiting you'll have a change of heart. Keeping drawdowns to a minimum isn't all that exiting but it is quite relaxing. Just an aside, when opportunity presents itself I won't be mostly in cash.

Now you are being silly. The graph shows that from less than a cent to 20 bucks is the same distance as from 20 bucks to 69k :rolleyes:

That's right! And you won't see any action until the trend move up. I don't short. Too much risk. I'm quite content to sit in cash right now and wait for the next bull. I'll always suggest that you get out of an investment when the trend changes. There is very little downside. If you are wrong...

Investors ditch the euro and pound for Bitcoin in record numbers as their value plummets

I guess we define at it differently. I take very little risk! I know where I'll bail if a position moves against me. Both times BTC tried to breakout in the last year I've opened a small position and been stopped out. That's speculating. Now gambling on the other hand is holding and hoping. No...

Not a day trader. Are you changing your mind about trading vs buy and hold? I describe myself more a speculator than a trader.

Jim Chanos on Coinbase: It's not a good business model

It's an easy asset to move between countries. If for what ever reason you needed to move money between even Canada and the US there is an issue as the banks don't really communicate with each other. As unbelievable as it seems, the Canadian government can freeze bank accounts at will. Crypto...

Jim Chanos on Coinbase: It's not a good business model

I don't think Crypto has solved any problems but it is creating quite a few. You hear that sucking sound? That's the sound of the government getting involved protecting us from ourselves.
