Is there an ETF of a bread basket of Canadian stocks??

Bank robbers rob banks because that is where the money is. I trade in the US market because that is where the action is.

You could spin that as we are more law abiding or more inept at catching criminals or Canadian judges are more lenient, we put a lot of criminals back on the street. Then there is the possibility that Canadian criminals are much smarter than those in the US. It's all in how the media spins it.

Is there an ETF of a bread basket of Canadian stocks??

Tell that to the non white population of Canada. I'll give you that one BC had more fentanyl related deaths than Covid deaths. We have Indigenous and other minorities. Same problem smaller scale Based on what criteria? Tell that to the guys who are locked up. I'll have to admit we are a...

Is there an ETF of a bread basket of Canadian stocks??

The way our Government is giving away money I don't see much hope for the Canadian Peso in the near future. Not sure we are any more stable; smaller for sure but pretty well have the same problems. That said I'm happy and proud to be Canadian. Wouldn't live anywhere else, except in the winter :)

Buying large/huge companies when they reduce their dividend...

The question is how long to hold and when to sell? How many stocks would you hold? When would you rebalance your portfolio? Would it beat a strategy like the Dow Dogs where you choose companies based on dividend returns.

Value vs Growth relative value trade

I assumed you were a trader because you are using options. You can trade momentum over longer periods that one day.

    Swing Trading >> Daytrading

What about them? They are part of trading. You still sleep better knowing that your account balance will be the same regardless of what happens overnight. You can only control what you do, not what the market does.

Yep!! Here's a trader that has apparently got it made. Life is short!! Remember to spend as much time as you can on internet forums desperately seeking validation from strangers.

It's so hard to say goodbye to a stock that's been running.

Interesting but has nothing to do with the topic of swing trading stocks

Will You Put On Multiple Longs/Shorts With The Same Trade Type?

I misunderstood; I read that you limited the size of any one position to 10% of your capital. I was wrong.:(

Will You Put On Multiple Longs/Shorts With The Same Trade Type?

Why 10%? As long as you are only risking a percentage of your capital why limit the amount of capital?
