What determines whether a position is higher risk or not?

How do you trade that prediction? Moving averages only show you where price has been, not where it is going. By the time price gets back to the ma I predict the ma will have moved.

Only if you learn from your mistakes. If you can't make money in sym trading real time won't change that. Trade sym until you can develop an edge, then transition to real money.

Not too many traders have to worry about losing their edge to dementia.:D

I'd use an account size similar to what I'd be trading with a live account. More realistic!! Good Luck!

My assumption about you being bored is that you are day trading and admittedly don't know what you're doing. That's just killing time. I have no experience with fibs, only a firm belief that if you start to make order out of chaos you'll end up in trouble. As far as I know there is not a rule...

Actually I swing to position trade. I have day traded and although profitable as a day trader, I'm able to get about the same return swing trading; with more time for other endeavours and way less stress. Why would you assume that we haven't made any money trading? If you want to learn...

You've been drinking the cool aid. Take the time to research what happens when you miss the 20 or 60 worse days.

Don't you find that the big movers hardly ever pull back? I don't chase the initial breakout but I'll take a consolidation breakout at a much higher price if I like the set-up.

Good question. You don't seem to know what you are doing and you don't seem to want any help. I'd guess you are just really bored.
