There might still be some 23"+ LCDs out there with better than 1920x1080 resolution. I have four Samsung 2324 BWX's which are 2048x1152. Sadly they're now discontinued. I accumulated mine over a period of time with the last one being a refurb for about $150. It doesn't seem like that...
