Microsoft already says T5810 can't install W11, yet I see computers for sale stating they have W11... I dunno. Likely will be able to use W10 for quite some time after the official "end" date.... currently slated for Oct-2025.

I think we've probably all had "things" reshuffle on us... time waster to reset. Couldn't you just unplug the keyboard instead of locking?

I have DP... mine have never been reshuffled... but I don't lock the computer with "WIN+L" FWIW...

Most traders don't understand the hardware. "Workstation class" hardware is supposed to have a functional life of 10+ years. I've seen some go much longer. That is... if you buy a computer with expected life of "50% left"... and you get it for 25% of original cost... that's a bargain.

Not sure from the pic. The connection on the "small end" looks like it's maybe too big. Sorry... I guess that's OK. You don't need to buy pricey ones... you might be able to get them in a "4-pack" for less cost per each.

You'll need miniDisplay Port (mDP) connection for each monitor. For you monitors with Display Port (DP) you'll need a "DP-mDP" adapter or a "DP-mDP cable"... DP on one end, mDP on the other... no adapter required. I'm not sure about the others.... they're old stuff. Check the monitors and see...

Those are clips that hold peripheral and video cards in place. You see the one with 4 ports? That's one video card to run 4 montors.

Are you asking me to check it out on eBay for you? In Dell "terms"... the current model is T5820... starting around $900. The prior generation, which I have, is T5810... starting around $250.

I suggest you get one used from eBay. You can get them with warranty up to 3 years if you like... but Precision workstations are notoriously reliable. If you get one with "30-day return" and it works for 30 days, it will likely work for years beyond that. If you want, I'll check what's...

Do you have W11 Home or W11 Pro?

I would not trust them. They mostly/only(?) have low-end, consumer grade (junk). Ideally what you really need is a proper workstation machine and a proper video card.

You should have a dedicated video card plugged into the x16 slot. You MAY have your monitors plugged into the "onboard video" chip ports... which may be the problem. And yes W11 may possibly not be "ready for prime time" when it comes to multi-monitor displays.
