JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon says bitcoin is a fraud that will eventually blow up

it can only survive if it becomes currency - medium of exchange. I don't see how at the moment As a place to park money it's doomed. Coordinated government crackdown and entire crypto universe will go down to zero overnight Although I think govenments just will slowly suffocate cryptos in the...

Hah....Amazon buying wholefoods ....wow!!! What an awkward buyout...

AWS probably a big chunk of the share price maybe 30-40% but earnings are modest - less a billion per quater. margins go down, prices also down and no dividend, no share buyback. so basically investors don't see any return except as a share price and it's a bubble anyway

    Doom or BOOM ??

2% growth is neutral. 0% interest rates are stimulative. You 're supposed to have neutral interest rates with neutral growth. But if you think that Fed mandate is inflation and employment and not GDP and inflation is above neutral, and full employment So rate hikes are very logical. They should...

    Japan Spirals into Bankruptcy?

well, I really don't know why they bother. I think nobody could believe money printing on a such scale can happen without any negative consequnces. But I'm sure in the next few years you will see significant tax reduction in Japan We don't know how big free launch can be. For now they have...

    Japan Spirals into Bankruptcy?

All BoJ buying is forever. How much they got now? almost 100% of GDP and in the process pushed yields below zerow without causing any inflation - basically free lunch Given foreign reserves I would say Japan is debt free now.

    Japan Spirals into Bankruptcy?

the strange thing that what you call Keynesianism is more like Socialism or even Communism - all is preplaned it must be 2% inflation, 3% growth, not a single major financial enterprise is allowed to fail and overall nobody knows what costs what as price discovery killed and price levels of all...

it's interesting how BoE expected to lower interest rates with forecast of 5%+ inflation in the next 2-3 years You would expect rate rise with collapsing currency and dire inflation looming but no - rising inflation now fought with rate cut too go figure!
