IB has been behind the futures commissions price curve for years and they don't even want to consider that their futures commissions are much too high.
IB's unbundled commissions for ES are $4.70 RT for the first 300 sides, $4.30 RT for the next 700 hundred sides and only hit a reasonable...
That is a great business model: "selling" for "free".
Once QT was bought out by AmeriTrade they lost all their ad revenue.
Free "free" gets expensive after a while. The revenue has to come from somewhere.
I paid QT their $60 on Sunday and that gives me a year to decide what to do going...
Your information is out of date.
EMD has the same $1.14 per side exchange fee as ES and NQ.
The CMEGroup raised the YM fee to the same $1.14 per side exchange fee many months ago.
What about the possible fees stated in this disclaimer:
"Zumo, Inc. may establish fees such as exchange, clearing, brokerage and commission charges that will change from time to time. These fees may include a monthly account maintenance fee from $50-$100. Further, Zumo, Inc. reserves the...
Have you read more than 2 days of Don Miller's blog?
His September 16, 2009 post was all about mistakes. Here is part of it:
"Rifle through the virtual pages of this diary and you'll see plenty of them. Who could forget that infamous day in October 2008 where I -- along with the rest of...
The lowest rates I have every seen for large volume are from Advantage Futures. You have to add a platform fee and exchange fees.

2,001 â 5,000 = $0.29
5,001 â 10,000 =...

From the September 18, 2009 blog:
"The end in terms of the Jellies being turned loose to swim on their own (although we will be swimming alongside each other as peer traders going forward as I've stated in the past)...
Nothing new under the sun. It is an old joke by Will Rogers from 1929.
âDonât gamble.â Take all your savings and buy some good stock, and hold it âtill she goes up. Then sell it. If it donât go up, donât buy it.
BTW, you shouldn't be playing with knives or anything else...

$4.00 a side is robbery for the emini futures.
There are a number of futures brokers with all in commissions under $2.50 a side ($5.00 round turn).
Interactive Brokers unbundled commissions start at $4.70 round trip, but you need to use 3rd party charting software (QuoteTracker or others)...
That is one of the problems of looking for brokers with the lowest rates, they may not do everything that you are looking for.
There is another broker that offers a $3.30 RT rate on index futures with no platform fee, but I would be wary of them. Zumo Futures is an introducing broker for Farr...
