How do u know u have made it in daytrading?

To follow up on my earlier post, it's important to work the markets but much more important to work yourself. With that in mind, the best book I can recommend to accomplish that is...

How do u know u have made it in daytrading?

Exactly! You will find the answer when you stop asking the question.

How do u know u have made it in daytrading?

No, this isn't true. People who make it initially are indeed lucky but if you're able to make it long term then you have developed the ability to adapt, which is the key. As an example, prior to 2007 the market was non-volatile and very trendy intra-day, which is where I spend most of my time...

How do u know u have made it in daytrading?

I thought I had "made" it a number of times and I fell flat on my face. I ended up "making it" when I stopped thinking I had made it. You have to stay humble throughout your trading career if you ever want to "make it."

Bubble ben bernanke says "LOW RATES "WON'T" STOKE INFLATION"

My monthly expenses are back to where they were shortly before 2007. From 2008 to 2009, and during most of 2010 my cost of living declined but that's no longer the case. The only expense that's still very low is my natural gas expense. Everything else has returned to pre-2007 levels...

"Bernanke’s trying to juice the market, to create wealth for you.”

Quite some time ago Bernanke wrote (before he became the Fed chairman) the Fed has one tool in its war chest that it can use almost indefinitely when all else fails. You probably don't have to think too hard to guess what that tool is, assuming you don't already know. Yeah, round after round...

GM's tax break worth as much as $45 billion

Yes! One of the many reasons why I said earlier, on a different thread, we don't live in a Capitalist Society anymore. In Capitalism you take a risk and if you are successful you are rewarded. If not, you fail and lose your capital or the capital of your investors. That's Capitalism...

    US on the socialist path.

I wasn't referring specifically to Obama's administration but a number of administrations. Goldman has held positions in high offices for as long as I can recall. On point number 2 all I can do is agree. I would suggest that pure capitalism is possible but only for a limited period of time...

    US on the socialist path.

What you are referring to is a Democracy and I would argue that the US is not a true Democracy either. Yes, elections take place but Joe the Plumber could not run for office because he doesn't possess the millions of dollars it takes to hire an army of attorneys to plow through the mountain of...

    US on the socialist path.

I disagree. The Government is firmly in the hands of Corporatists. As a brief and general example, how many current or former members of Congress, or members of Obama's Cabinet, or Secretaries of the various Government Offices, have been employed by, served on the board of, or been affiliated...

Pontiac going out of business today after 84 years.

I bought a new 1987 Chevy Cavalier that wouldn't even start on the dealer's parking lot. I later traded it in for a Cavalier Z24 thinking I was getting a pretty fast car. The thing was a dog. Later traded that for an '88 5.0 Mustang that was pretty fast for the day but the damn thing spent...

Unemployment Offices To Add Armed Guards - Indiana News Story

Correct, a few people in Indiana not getting bennies will not affect GDP but 15+ million from coast to coast getting cut off will. It's just a matter of time before the majority who go on unemployment will reach 99 weeks. If and when they reach that point the additional vacant homes in the...

Pontiac going out of business today after 84 years.

Mine was a '75 Grand Prix. The gas guage went down faster than the speedometer went up but boy did that car have some balls. The G8 is (was) a wicked ass machine. Damn fast! They should have shut down Buick instead.

    End Of Liberty documentary

Correct. Capitalism is dead in America. What we have now is Fascist Corporatism. Fascism's theory of economic corporatism involved the management of sectors of the economy via government or privately controlled organizations (corporations). Each trade union or employer corporation would, in...

    The Creature from Jekyll Island

Therein lies the problem. If you give man the power to create money at will eventually you are going to have big problems. Whether it be a war in the middle east, the next generation fighter jet, or a road from here to nowhere, the answer is always the same. Print and lend. We'll pay later...
