i agree that we need another week of follow-through to establish a trend, but i've been trying to tweak my signals to move from detecting "we're in the middle of a trend" to "we've just started". if the market is a dog then options and futures are the nose.

i thought you had resistence between 1270 and 1280.....

agreed. if we take out 1280, i think 1300 will break soon after. bottom line is the market has been over-sold and bearish for too long. there hasn't been any balance. today's action - so far - tells me that the makert is REACHING for any excuse to move higher, and that is a bullish signal.

From a technical standpoint - the bulls got what they needed - a follow-through on the monday rally. IMO, the action the next 2 will set the tone for the next 60-80 days. but then again, im krazy. :D
