Im curious how you people who have been making a living "retail" are handling your brokerage accounts and data. Do you still claim non-pro for exchange fees etc? It should be obvious to your broker that you are making a living trading. Do they let you still claim nonpro for exchange fees etc?

I wonder if anybody has set up an algo to track the single contract traders under the assumption that they will be wrong most of the time?

I would think thats what a lot of heavy fuel users are doing. My fleets a little too small for that strategy. Not a bad idea tho. However it is entirely possible that the price of oil could go down while gas prices continue to rise for awhile.

Thought Id bring one of my favorite threads back to the top. This trend channel was drawn before the market opened. I dont know why price follows these channels so often (Im still waiting for an explanation) but its definitely worth watching.

I would suggest keeping an open mind about indicators. I have discovered a couple of cases where "lagging" indicators actually lead at times but not in the primary function they were designed for. That saying about more than one way to skin a cat applies to everything about the markets.
