Its been a long time since i used sierra charts so I cannot help. Kiwi trader is an expert on sierra and will usually help so you might pm him. Quotetracker has made it very simple to set your ranges and you dont have to mess with it once you get it set. Jerry and his brother will answer any...

    Question for Grob/Hershey...

Yes. The first trade can be a bitch which is why I usually wait for a clear point three. Had I done this there would have been no losses but it could just as easy have worket out. I kind of like Jacks attitude about jumping in and going from there but it takes getting used to.

    Question for Grob/Hershey...

The hardest part about sct is holding.:) Its tough for me to hold this long but you can see that there has been no reason to exit yet. As you probably noticed on the trade sheet I am reversing manually after exiting. I have not got the mechanics of auto-reversing worked out yet. edit...

    Question for Grob/Hershey...

I am practicing sct today as I figured it would be slow. I give up some points because I am reversing on the pt 3 rather than the highs and lows because I do not understand the fine sweeps yet. I am still long from my last reverse looking for congestion now.

    Question for Grob/Hershey...

Good luck. I have not been able to come up with a clear explanation yet. There are hints all over the place but it is hard for me to grasp something unless it is explained to me in detail.

    Question for Grob/Hershey...

Trading is not that hard unless you build up a history of losses. Then you are fighting an uphill battle. You are smart to do a lot of papertrading. A lot of people knock it, including Jack I think but it makes no sense to me to trade cash if you dont have a strategy that works on paper and I...

    Question for Grob/Hershey...

Thanks again Moz and Icarus. Will make a nice project this weekend. What would really be neat if we could get the tick data for these days and tape the replay of the charts to go along with the audio on dvds. Would make a nice collection. Saw some str/squ in action at the top this afternoon...

    I have stopped trading futures

Assuming one can trade either profitably, what about the tax considerations? Saving 12% approx. can add up.

    Question for Grob/Hershey...

I also found the chat very interesting for several reasons. It is fasicnating to see all the posts Ive read come to life, in realtime action. Thanks so much for the chart. Jack really does a great job of moderating. Wish I had been there.
