Ive seen several times where people reccommend watching time and sales when entering a trade. I have tried this a number of different times because it seems so logical. If you see a steady stream of trades going off at the bid the markets going down, right? Wrong! Somebody is buying all that...

I had that part of it already. It turned out that you had to put an f in front of dax and estx50 i.e: dtb:@fdax sep 03. Who knows why. They dont tell you that in the example they give on the website. Thanks for taking the time to reply.

Without traders the economy could not exist, imo. We'd have to go back to barter.

I would suggest paper trading whatever divergences youre referring to for awhile. You will discover rather quickly that theyre much easier to spot after the fact. I have tried about a million variations on that theme. I like what dgabriel said in his first reply here. p.s. fwiw, Linda...

Youre the only one who can answer that question. Do you have everything there that you want to monitor on one screen? I dont like tiny charts so have lots of monitors.

Im playing around with quotetracker to see if it will make a good backup. I can get the globex symbols ok but when I put the spaces in as they say to do with the ACE symbols it comes up on the quote screen as three different symbols. Thot id try here first.

In another post I mentioned that I was having problems getting a router to work with my dsl. The solution was rather simple and I am amazed that Linksys support did not know this although I think most of the support nowadays comes out of central locations from people who are reading manuals...

Bought a new machine the other day with XP Pro and immediately had problems with esignal. Have been using 2000 pro for awhile now with zero problems so took it back and got a refund and upgraded my old box. XP is probably fine but that was my experience.

I recomend "Street Smarts". Ive read over a hundred books on trading. Donated all of them to the local library except this one. It doesnt cover everything but its a great foundation, imo.

Is anybody using Bellsouth dsl and windows2000 with a NAT router? I bought a Linksys firewall/router but never could get it to work. Linksys support finally gave up after a couple of sessions.
