    wow a GREAT website

haha definitely. The mike huckabee one was the best "Palin got more votes running for mayor than Biden did running for president" actually Palin got 600 votes for mayor and biden got 45,000 running for prez. haha

    wow a GREAT website

This website its great, its COMPLETELY (as you will see) non bias towards any party. Basically, in this episode (the whole website is dedicated to debunking myths and speeches) they focus on mccain, obama, biden, palin, huckabee and others and show how they lied or misrepresented the truth...

Why I like Bush and support the war in Iraq (no sarcasm)

Wow. Great post. I can't disagree with anything above. You basically summed up why I'm voting Obama. I do feel that our military presence in the middle east is necessary, much like our military presence in turkey during the cold war. The world now knows the extent to will go to protect...

I think we can all agree that's NOT the reason.

    Can you hook me up?

I cant get one with my data feed or find an acceptable one on the internet. I need a daily chart of NQ, back adjusted, for the last 8 months and 12 months. A screen shot will do as long as it has price and time that are readable. I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Why I like Bush and support the war in Iraq (no sarcasm)

Yea you didn't quote it, you simply took it to mean that he wants to "bomb pakistan" lol. Anyways his foreign policy is of course up for debate as it should be, thats not where I take issue. It's that, according to you, anyone voting for obama is "an asshole". Like I said, that statement is...

Why I like Bush and support the war in Iraq (no sarcasm)

Ha for all your tough talk you really present an impotent argument. I read the article and I was watching when Barrack made those comments. I don't feel like getting into it as I have charts to look at it, but I sincerely hope you are not this ignorant. If you don't support Obama then fine...

Stronger growth rates under Democratic administrations

I don't buy into those conspiracies. I assume you are referring to some sort of business conglomerate. I just don't see it. I believe or gov has to make choices about our future that aren't very black and white. Ones that would be difficult to sell on the nation as a whole, as we tend to think...

Stronger growth rates under Democratic administrations

What "opportunistic realpolitik" are you referring to? I doubt we can call out politics impotent. You can argue whether we used our power for good or bad, but I would say we are anything but impotent. I realize that blind adherence to one set of ideals, regardless of the situation is...

Why I like Bush and support the war in Iraq (no sarcasm)

Interesting replies. I have n doubt that the US uses our share of torture, extortion, etc to get what we want. right and wrong becomes very convoluted I'm sure, and as of right now I'm thankful I'm not the one who makes the final decision in situations like that.

Why I like Bush and support the war in Iraq (no sarcasm)

Its not a cop out. It could be, and maybe some people use it as one, but not for me. It's simply the way of the world. I'm sure Bin Laden has some way of justifying his actions. I can't imagine how, but he wouldnt have done it otherwise. Hitler surely could justify his horrible actions, how else...

Fair enough. I'm still thinking on the voting issue.

Stronger growth rates under Democratic administrations

I've never seen what the big deal is on flip flopping. Unless of course they flip or flop to a position that you don't agree with. I think when politicians start to run for a major office they start getting hit with all sorts of new issues they never had to deal with before and to do with it new...

Stronger growth rates under Democratic administrations

Ahh it's a little of both for me. Hey if I'm wrong then I'm wrong and I'll change my mind. FWIW I did reply to your post in the other thread.

Stronger growth rates under Democratic administrations

Ah ok, I'll take the bait :) I don't have to "explain how that policy demonstrates strong leadership". Not everything a good leader does will demonstrate that trait. My point is not that it showed good leadership, but that it is pretty arbitrary when it comes to discerning if someone has that...

Why I like Bush and support the war in Iraq (no sarcasm)

I am young, but that was a couple years ago. I'm not 5 haha. Yes I remember the speculation during that time about the war being oil driven. Like I said in the beginning of this thread, no one was prepared to go to war over oil when it was 1.40 a gallon or so. This only goes in line with what I...

I see your point, but no offense, it's a pretty weak one. Maybe others will come on that way to don't have to bother with it.

Sure, which facts are you interested in? The war in Iraq? I already provided a link to a thread I started a couple days ago. Scroll up, and read my first post, though it is kind of long. And I also already dispelled some of obama's tax myths, and hopefully put to rest that ridiculous issue...
