Is Atheism a crutch for people who don’t understand the complexity of God?

OK. You have a name for "it" - jonbigism and a statement "2+2=5". That is not sufficient for completeness and it is not valid - therefore it is not true within your system, which in fact is just nonsensical as most everything you have said in this thread. There... that is an informal quick...

Is Atheism a crutch for people who don’t understand the complexity of God?

Ok, now you have a name for it. Lets start by defining some structures for your model, and then we can see if they are axiomatizable. I hope you know formal languages and predicate logic - it really helps. :)

Is Atheism a crutch for people who don’t understand the complexity of God?

Tell me which context you are using. Certainly it is not Algebra, but tell me which model or theory you are using, and I will tell you if you are wrong. :)

Is Atheism a crutch for people who don’t understand the complexity of God?

Here's a quick and known answer for you: in algebra, 2+2 = 4 I did that without religion... :)

Rumor the anti bill rhetoric is being fueled by terrorists

The terrorists are using their petrol to fuel the fire on the economy. Nuke 'em! :p And don't let anyone put their cheese on your toasty behind... it is wrong, and not the way like your priest told you. alt.pave.the.earth - insightful and classic USENET newsgroup...

How do you not get pissed off when you cash in trade to early??!!

Xanax, Valium, smoking a bud... Or maybe just plain social contact, getting out into nature etc. :)

Bernanke: There's No Housing Bubble to Go Bust (2005)

At the helm in Washington: the most honest, the brightest, the bravest, with impeccable integrity, foresight and altruism... Upholders of democracy and justice, they are perfect in their judgements - unsurpassed in their wisdom. Hmmm... Their hearts are of gold - as are their teeth and rings...

    Ivan's Trade Thread, part II

CAD had some commodity softness worries, as well as the US trade/biz impact of it's big neighbour. AUD is much more attractive as commodity currency - at least it has found back some correlation in the market.

Scottrade: Sorry, you must order by phone...

The thing about IB is that they favour having experienced customers and people with good balances. They do have large margins, yes... but they are good and rock solid.

Buffett says economy needs immediate help

Help the economy, because Buffett is long... for the long term. "Be greedy when others show fear", was it? :D

    Wachovia trading under a buck

Apparently Wachovia is refusing educational institutions who have a total of USD 9 bn on their accounts to access, withdraw their money - to pay bills, wages etc. Limit to 35% or something IIRC.

Is Atheism a crutch for people who don’t understand the complexity of God?

If you put it a little different like: "if anyone fucks up the ecosystem, they will be sorry later" - then I agree with you... :)

    The weak dollar rally begins

I agree that UK has some serious trouble facing it. Both structural longer term and the crumbling housing market etc. Germany - which is the core strength of Europe along with the new member states - are however quite healthy. A steep depreciation of the USD is not in the interest of anyone...

Under Pres. Obama, what is the over/under that a city gets nuked by terrorists

Interesting... You perfectly restate the thinking of James Burnham from his "Third World War" columns - and about destroying US enemies in pre-emptive wars. This is at the core of Neo-con thinking and ideology. :)

Is Atheism a crutch for people who don’t understand the complexity of God?

You would surprise me greatly if you say you know anything about epistemic logic. :D Being pretty familiar with model theory myself, we can discuss epistemic logic if you want to... ? Especially since epistemology and phenomenology are my core interests in philosophy and psychology as well...

Is Atheism a crutch for people who don’t understand the complexity of God?

To I Am/Jesus: If you look into systems science - you will see one more angle - a neutral and scientific one - which does not in any way invalidate your religion or your views - just shows the "system mechanics" of your beliefs on society etc. See e.g "complex adaptive system"...

Is Atheism a crutch for people who don’t understand the complexity of God?

Kiddo... I think you wanted to say "basic epistemological principles". :D Epistemology is my core interest, if you look at my other posts on philosophy -- and I have no principles or morality. :)

Is Atheism a crutch for people who don’t understand the complexity of God?

That is the best intellectual post I've ever read on EliteTrader in the context of religion, and you have gained some respect from me with this - unlike your other posts in debates we have had earlier. It is clear that you have a deeper understanding of the philosophical aspects of Abrahamic...

Is Atheism a crutch for people who don’t understand the complexity of God?

jonbig4, you are being nonsensical. Sure, you can invent any fantasy possible - and you can hold a world view as warped as you just want. As long as you don't force that on someone else - and especially someone that will affect me - then you can keep your nonsensical beliefs. I was not trying...
