Looks like a lot of VISTA machines are affected -- the web browser would time out and internet surfing would slow to a crawl. This problem is not linked to a specific browser... it affects IE, FireFox, Opera, as well as Chrome. This is not a problem of the internet, router, or network...

That's a good book, but at the advanced level. At the beginner's level... you don't need to buy a book. Option council's website has plenty of info.
