I have found success at some stuff that has similiar failure rates to trading. I have found that the bulk of the failures were not prepared for the challenge at hand. The people that know what they are up against and are commited to achieving success, the failure rate is very low...

10 years ago I started trading as a naive 18 year old. I had the misfortune of finding Jack Hershey first. I blame Jack Hershey and my naivety for 3 wasted months and w blown account. Jack your ramblings may entertain you but you harm people that just might find success with a real mentor.

I recommend papertrading the first 15 or 30 minutes until you are showing a clear edge. Volatility is attractive but can be hard to read.
