I hear ya. I agree this whole thing makes no sense and borders on insanity. As of now it looks like the test is with no material to study and a month to pass. But who knows. Hopefully someone releases study material and a more realistic deadline is set.

Damn. I guess it's up to the CBSX firms to come up with good study material. I would think that STC or someone will jump on this and create study material. It will be something that a lot of firms/traders need.

I never said everyone will get a waiver. Probably only those with sufficient experience trading or those who previously had/do have a series 7. As far as the deadline......a month away is insane. There is going to have to be some kind of extension. I just think you are jumping the gun...

I agree with you guys about the ridiculousness of jamming this test down CBSX firms throats in a 5 week period. This is unheard of. Back when the 55 came out we had 2 yrs to pass. I would have to believe they are going to have to extend things out a bit..especially since there is no study...

No problemo. What is ZC ? The gold slippage doesn't happen a lot....but....the scary part is if someone comes in to buy a decent amount they can move the mkt way too much. That trade I had was the last straw. It's really surprising that such a major market as gold is so illiquid.
