    Gifted trader: Andy Priston

Very interesting info, Traderchi and nice to hear someone still makes really big money by old school outright trading. :)

Weekly 123 reversal worked nicely, didn't it? :)

    Why day trade?

Better return on risk capital (or can risk much less to make the same $ amount). That's why.

Will you still trade if If there is no leverage in Forex ?

Will just take a loan and use it as leverage. :p

Starting a fund / raising capital

OP, does max. monthly drawdown of 5% mean your worst month finished in red by 5% or something different? Could you please elaborate.

Why do more than 90% of traders lose?

Look at the first part of my nickname. :p Seriously, I like vulture analogy, it may be not too "cool" but it's relatively safe way to parasitize on lion's dinner. :)

Why do more than 90% of traders lose?

I have yet to recall the case I saw on Discovery or NatGeo when lion ate a vulture. :D

Possible 123 reversal on the weekly S&P 500 chart. Also being a part of monthly 2B (test of 2011 highs and retreat back down from there) it looks like some serious bearish pressure... http://www.cornixforex.com/2012/05/possible-weekly-123-reversal-in-sp-500/

Why do more than 90% of traders lose?

Small animals can successfully parasitize on top predators in food chain, though, nature knows many precedents of this. :)

FEAR! How to get rid of it

Fear means you don't trust your strategy/tactics enough. Either something is wrong with it or if you are sure technical side is OK, practice more until you feel greed instead of the fear whenever see your signal.

With pleasure, Xspurt, I posted daily chart with corresponding trendlines just a couple of hours ago in my blog as an update to previous longer-term analysis posts I made there. Euro nicely bounced yesterday exactly off the intersection of two trendlines on the daily plus 50% retrace, but...

Hey BD, The logic of them is stated probably like 100 years ago, when Dow theory was developed. :) Price rarely just goes straight up or down, it moves in waves and logic of 123 pattern in my view is that price fails to reach the last swing high/low, thus demonstrating the lack of...

So, you had a real bad trade how are you going to handle it?

If "bad trade" is just a losing trade, which happens sometimes and is normal for your trading strategy, then term "bad" is incorrect. No biggie about it, just cost of running the business. As for "bad trade" in the sense of violation of your own risk management, simply don't do it and you...

EURUSD weekly chart. If 123 reversal down fails, we may get the bullish 2B in direction of the another attack on the bearish trendline.

True that. By saying "simple" I never meant to say it's "easy", because it's as simple as any other craft is after you practice is for a while. :) Simple in the way of being sum of simple elements, but time is required to develop perception of those elements as a symphony rather than a...

That daily EURUSD triangle I talked about in my blog last Friday is now broken during Asian session, which drags indices down and dollar up. Looking forward in hope to see gloomy European and US sessions as well. :D

My view on "gems". As most who know me know, I trade in quite a simple way. But at the same time trade together with yoohoo for years already. Indeed, he often teaches things, which seem to be very complex to many people. But it isn't because he tries to mislead anyone, just there are...

Oops, looks like our little conspiracy is now discovered. :D Funny, I was sure everybody knows it anyway, that's why posted cross nickname stuff so easily. :) Thanks for the kind words about our old thread, it was my own path to consistency back then.
