    no...not talking about holding the spread overnight...just trade at my daytrade margin for each contract...the CME requirement is for overnight only...my trading platform would simply view as 2 positions and one is long and other short...

    Joe...as you watch the DAX...do you find that no matter where the DAX or FTSE are when the US markets open (regular trading hours) they will then begin to "follow" the ES/YM etc...example: today the DAX and FTSE were up like 50-70 points...the ES/YM were down as they opened...here came the DAX...
