What determines the first trade after a listed stock is halted? If there are GTC limit orders that will be filled due to gapping price, who gets the fill on the other side? The lowest/highest ask/bid?

If that's the case, then I'd agree completely. Will become very tempting in next few days to just say "to hell with it" and just hold a losing position til they need to carry you out.
