Yep. I got stopped out. Now I'm in the long side :)

I'm close to getting stopped out--within 5-6 ticks. For a change, I'm "blindly" following my stop. I don't see any strong directional bias right now though.

Tick charts compress low volume/activity so I think moving averages do a better job on them.

I'm still following my stop. Now it's at 1.2317. I'm expecting at least one more push downside below 1.23. Anyway, I'll just trail till I get stopped out. The best scenerio for me is a slow slide until the close, then I'd be leaving at most 5-10 pips at the table.

Right now, I'm in monkey mode trailing my stop using the exact numbers I see on my screen:) I'm accepting the possibility of giving up 20+ pips profits. The trailing stop is at 1.2323 currently.

To me this looks like, we're in trend down mode. I'll add to my initial short when we have a 15 pip pullback from a local minimum--currently second entry level is at 1.2328. Edit: QM is going down... Edit2: OK. second set of short is entered too.

I'm not sure how useful this'll be for your style. But perhaps you can use it as a filter to take only short or long side. It best works on tick-bar based charts. You have to input High&Low for each bar.

WIth IB, I get the data without paying exchage fees. But I chart with Tradestation.

I look at real-time data, specifically CME eurodollar futures (the interest rate product). I don't have real-time CBOT subscription in TS otherwise, I would be looking at ZN. But I think both are OK in terms tracking intraday trends.
