    The Surf Report

Surfer, It is always fun to watch Gann principles at work. I had not noticed GOOG until you put it on the radar up around 470. I always wonder what W. D. could have done had he had modern computing power. Thanks for the profits :) Best Regards Oddi

    Trader Myers-Briggs Personality Type

Well, I am an ENFP apparently the first one here. Most ENFP's appear to be unconcerned with something as mundane as money. Oddi

    "Time" Component of Market Analysis

They are all to be used in conjuction to form a "cluster". If a time cluster and a price cluster intersect, then you have a high probability trade. Best Regards Oddi

    Complexity

Just another philosophical trader question. Is it possible that with the advent of the web, that we overcomplicate our business. It is possible to trade with a hand held calulator and a chart, I have found. Traders, as you evolution has progressed, have you found that less is more...

What is your "TRADING HOLY GRAIL"?

The Holy Grail is being able to develop a market algorhythm, and then CONSISTENTLY trading that algorhythm. This will take a lot of screen time. Best Regards Oddi

How would you test for trendiness?

No. Edit: There are, however, several excellent methods to keep you on the right side of the market. Elite has documented them all.

    Perfect TA...

Yes, tradestation does these types of projections, and have been since thier 2ki release( they are on TS8 now, to give you perspective) Your probability map has a rather wide margin of error from eyeballing it. As Gann stated, and Solomon before him....THERE IS NOTHING NEW UNDER THE SUN:mad:

    the basic flaws in TA

I see, you are using a pattern as a flag for a particular event, although that event will be random in nature:D That is probably the best way to use TA

    Do Gaps Always Get Filled

I know of a gap that never filled, MSTR. Microstrategy was a high filer during the bubble. It gapped down some forty points, and never recovered. I do not believe MSTR exists anymore.

    the basic flaws in TA

Perhaps you should tell that to Sydertrader, who doubled his account and whose trades, stock selection, price and volume figures were completely transparent. Nononsense, the burden of proof is entirely upon you, as there is a large document on this site that completely refutes your claims.

    the basic flaws in TA

Nice post as usual, Jack. What about those entities that do not have volume represented, such as the forex? As far as the P,V, relationship goes, no one here would seriously dispute you there. Best Regards Oddi
