That is an interesting statement. I dont know anything else to rely on but maybe we have different definitions of technical analysis.

I think the problem lies from taking the statement volume leads price too literally. I think it is more accurate to say volume is a leading indicator of price. Increasing volume does not always mean increasing price movement. But increasing volume does mean there is a significant chance price...

Im no expert but I think the programs will kill each other. I also think there will always be room for the small trader because it is much easier for him to maneuver.
