Great prop shops for an experienced trader

I am 98% lindq is you. Just curious if my intuition is correct.

    This market is ridiculously high

I thought the same thing. It feels like the shorts that trust the inflationary/housing refrain are waiting to be ground out of recent entries. I'd be most content if we swing back down to 1280 for one last test then lift off for more slow directional movement. Otherwise I'll just stick with...

    This market is ridiculously high

I try to avoid predicting and getting commited, but I don't think so at all. Fundamentally I don't see why it's going up and half my stocks are still pushing against sellers, but the charts indicate direction for once. Once this month began I started watching for a higher low in the S&Ps below...

    Does trading wear you out?

I did get exhausted regularly before. For me, I would find it extremely difficult to code the kind of trading I do as it incorporates price vol data that can be rather fuzzy, so the discretionary aspect has to remain constant until I expand my knowledge. Day trading got under my skin after...

    Trader P/L 2006

I'm glad to see lescor on the boards. He is someone who's had a very solid, consistent progression in his career, and I think he could be a helpful example to a lot of newer traders. I definitely have learned a lot from reading his posts in the past.

    'Idiot-Savant' Traders?

Just the statement that a particular gene can be activated by near death experiences should have been a key tip off there. It's a particularly American habit to merge mysticism with commonly-understood scientific practice in incomensurable ways to satisfy a certain type of consumer.

How can I find a job as money manager?

This is very very true. You rarely hear of these traders outside of IB though.

Hybrid Phase III dress rehearsal on Sept. 30

No way to be sure, but I assume with further liquidity access there will be an even greater absence of cleanup prints that some of us became used to, but that's not a huge deal. Changes to the direct+ share size might lead to unpredictable pops followed by sharp corrections that could possibly...

Spyware found in MB trading Sotware

If you decide not to open live account, their adware sits there and technically hijack your browser every time you search for a new broker in a search engine Hm, this is interesting. Curious if you have proof.a

    Middle class revolt

Heh, true. Always decent coin to be turned by policing the world.

    Middle class revolt

R&D and smart capital are probably the only things the U.S. does well, in my opinion. Best universities in the world as far as the sciences go. I'd say provide more incentives for the brightest immigrants to come here and apply their talent.

What to do when you have access to inside news?

Well, you could always ask for advice on an internet chat board that logs your IP address when you post.

    Middle class revolt

That's what is happening: distributing toward Brazil, India, and China. Regional disparities are broader than national borders. It's only going to continue, since we don't produce anything here. The U.S. will probably do relatively fine, but wealth will once again be polarized and class...

Trader P/L 2006 Questions and Discussion

Clearly you missed the context of Maverick's post. Do you seriously believe that such rules can be made about trading and that they apply to everyone? It shows a particularly unthinking approach to understanding the markets that usually is adopted by naive players looking to learn from more...
