Really? The writing is bad at best, and there are many subtle clues in the writing about the type of person he is and what he wanted from the market (and why he failed). This article really rubs me the wrong way. As someone who relies on trading for my livelihood it's somewhat offensive...
I don't know of any swing traders supporting a family, but maybe I'm just in the wrong circles. Neither is easy, but based on my experiences over the past 15 years I would vote for daytrading if you intend it as a profession.
Anyone know of software, or an Esignal EFS that can do this? I would like to be able to see all my trades plotted on a chart for review. It would use Sterling fill data like the following, preferably from a txt or xls file.
Time Sym (TASR) Side Qty Price Exe Price Dest

I would love to see a rating, or up/down Reddit style system implemented. Posting would be more fun/interactive/rewarding...not to mention being able to downvote the idiots would be nice.
+1 psycho babble
You learn to trade and find an edge, or you don't. I've seen edges come and go, along with my profitability. Psychology has never played much of a role.
"Real Talk"
Put simply, there are very few stocks that have moves worth trading each day. Take the typical trading stocks like AAPL GOOG off your screen. Be a bigger fish in a smaller pond. Use a scanner, and only trade stocks that are moving more than average. Have enough charts to watch...
What an absurd statement. So if I don't believe in God, he doesn't believe in me? So that means 2/3rds of earthly humans are going to hell at all times. Thousands of people die every day, and most of them go to hell. It makes me sad that people believe this drivel.
Being God fearing is no...
I think you may need to review the definition of common sense. If you could read what you wrote from someone's point of view who wasn't raised a Christian you could see how insane it all sounds. Remember, 2/3rds of the world population don't believe what you believe (and these numbers go up...
As an atheist I'm hoping you can provide some scientific historical evidence, that would be great. From everything I've read there is no written word of Jesus until nearly 50 years after death by Paul who neglected to write anything about the now common knowledge of Jesus. It wasn't' until 20...

I guess it depends on the person? There are close friends I won't discuss God with because it wouldn't end well. Rational vs. irrational thought is a bad mix, even when the believer knows they are irrational (ie. faith).
I read something recently that made me change the way I think about debating a higher power with a believer.
When an atheist tells someone there is no god, they are also saying "your mom/sister/brother/dad/grandma/grandpa are not in heaven. They aren't waiting for you". The grasp of this...
