    Iterative Refinement

The part about people "dropping off the thread" is a generalization, and not an accurate one. :D Not including Mr. Black with "intellectual types" - some people would be offended. :D The "incompetent people" part was probably inspired by my long, 5 paragraph "thinking out loud" response to...

Yep, that third red bar on increasing red is not what suppose to come next after the flaw on YM. So a retrace must follow on ES. And it did. QED

My back up PC internal clock was not synchronized with globes and running approx 1 min behind. Take a look at what it built for 12:03 [close of] YM bar:D

    Iterative Refinement

That's pretty cool - I wasn't paying attention to that. I also noticed that quite often the first dominant traverse of the channel does not provide a change signal before building a non-dom traverse, be it point three or a lateral.

I totally agree. The whole point of learning how to trade these methods is to learn to find the answers on our own. As Mak said, to dwell on AHA!'s. So what if one bar belongs to an area of uncertainty. The remaining 80 perform like a swiss watch. Absolutely no need to freak out. With finer...

:D Those are some very harsh words. Nobody had ever accused me of being intelligent before.:D

    Iterative Refinement

I think we are dealing here with two sets of events, which overlap. Some of tape level signals may be followed by traverse level change. Plenty examples can be found where a traverse ends with an FTT, which provides decreased volatility on increased volume change signal. But not all tape...

I only stated what I saw on that pic. :D However, I never claimed to understand fully the "Sesame Street" post, if that's what you're referring to with respect to tape vs traverse level change.:D

http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/attachment.php?s=&postid=2063518 I 'see' decreased volatility on increased volume. (1.75 green FTT bar vs 2.25 prev bar)

I am trying to figure out these areas of uncertainty, as they make me extremely unhappy and that was the closest context to what we're dealing with here IMO. It was a Jokari window signal for change on his chart created by his data provider, but not on dkm's or mine. ( see dkm's post to which...

Again, looks to me like a failed BO out of Lateral which "does not make its way onto the chart until later"

    Iterative Refinement

I don't understand. Are you saying 15:20 [close of] is pt2? Or that one does not have permission to seek change at that point in time?

    Iterative Refinement

The closes thing I can think of is the blue FTT here: http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/attachment.php?s=&postid=2038716 Spydertrader's comment here: http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&postid=2038729#post2038729 "The anotations (Lateral Movement) you 'see' now did not make their...

    Iterative Refinement

I think it was the Peak Volume. :D The question that needs to be asked - does one have a permission to seek change at this point in time? And, if one does - what type of change might materialize? http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&postid=1678486#post1678486

    Hadron collider "Doomsday" didn't happen...

CERN has always had an open door policy. http://info.web.cern.ch/Press/PressReleases/Releases2005/PR04.05E.html They even have a whole bunch of Chinese and Russian physicists there. If there was any National Security stuff there to be discovered, it would have been done quietly at...

    Iterative Refinement

Think about it. If this was pt3 then retrace and trendline BO would have become reversal and pt3 up. We do have retrace and trendline BO, but no reversal and pt3 up. But in our reality pt3 is always completed unlike in icarus618's reality. What is the only possible logical conclusion. It is...

Brown pt3 down chubby tape. Increasing red from pennant BO. No signal for change. Deceleration and fanned outward orange traverse.

    Iterative Refinement

That's a perfect example. We have a green FTT - signal for change, next two bars decreasing red. As expected after an FTT. Then a Hitch, hidden inside Sym. So we know this thing turned dominant already since we've got the flaw. Pennant BO - increasing volume. do we have our pt3 and traverse...

    Iterative Refinement

In both cases I see the existence of increasing volume that does not come from Lateral (either Movement or Formation) BO / FBO or from a Pennant / Adjacent bar Even Harmonic BO / FBO.

You may be giving too much credit to the geeks. They already tried f*cking up Van Allen belts but found that destroying Earth is not that easy. We may have more to fear from global warming caused by SUV driving soccer MILFS than from mad scientists.
