    771 area, S1, is resistance.

Uptrend intraday in place. 773-775 target, provided I can find a spot to get in here. Stop would be 59.

Doubtful, but there have been some pretty strong countertrend pops after 3:30 Fridays in the past. We'll see. Until then, no longs until intraday uptrend in place.

I'd wish the IRS would disregard trades for tax purposes. No chance there! I'll be back home on Monday. I won't have to watch my language any longer. Did you get 61.50? That was pretty darn good, I would say.

EDIT: Please delete, moderator, as per the rules of this thread. I usually post on my own journal but cannot this week--sorry Ishmael.

Wyckoff spring off of the hour charts? If there is some buying above 64, then, perhaps 774?

    Covered some at 62.75.

762.5-759.5 cover shorts/knife catching zone. EDIT: Intraday basis only.

S1 was hit, and then failed. There was a Fib extension target off the opening range of the 767 area that also seems to have failed. S2 is 762.25. Every hour today has had lower highs and lower lows. Definition of trend day. VWAP is way up there, around 777.50. If there is a late...

S1 = overnight low, anyone? The daily pivot has failed, for the moment, as has yesterday's low.

    Interesting: Krugman gets into fisticuffs...

    What is a "novel prize"?

So far the entire afternoon's price action has been inside the 11-12 hour bar.

More fakeouts today than a fall Saturday afternoon when Vanderbily plays Florida. The short signals are not working well this afternoon, and, for that matter, neither are the longs. Tough, grind-it-out afternoon. EDIT; market almost certain to close above yesterday low, and possibly above...

Measured move (afternoon rally ended at exactly 50% retrace level) would put it at 66.75. S1 is 68.75. That said, today has not been an easy day for shorts--knowing when to hold them, and when to fold them.

There are several lines of resistance between 84 and 88: VWAP, opening range low,60 minute moving average, daily moving average, daily pivot. Again, I see no good risk bets, intraday, at the moment.

Lawrence, VWAP has settled in at 787.25, which is price at this moment. The market will tip its hand as to where it wants to go. Until then...

Flat at 84. Simply put, the selling is being met with buying.

PP was tested from beneath three times, in a head and shoulders, intraday. Intraday, 778 looks like a likely retest.

The pivot served as resistance this time around. If prices jumps over the daily pivot, and if the pivot point starts acting like support, 60's are not going to be likely after all.

There will probably be a bounce at T's high of 777, but as long as they don't print 91, the mid-low 60's by the end of day is possible, if not probable.
