The collapse of Western economic system and the curse of Central Bankers

Plus, there's more. Vote DEM and you may be the recipient of a Nuclear Exchange "Holocost". Isn't that wonderful? At least, that's what our current POTUS is promising. Most candidates promise very mundane things, like jobs. But Biden is saying we may have a NUCLEAR HOLOCOST. Are there really...

    The FED

Why do you think that using less energy is any kind of a solution. Many of the young generation seem to think thatvway. But no history supports that. In all examples of what we have now (expanding world population, and a desire of those people to have as best a standard as possible, History...

Well, thd French may have been smarter than the Germans (not really) But then the Russians were smarter than the French. (Im reading in European press French are mostly out of gasolins). Not good.

Germany reports 34% increase in company insolvencies

In 1944, The Bretton Woods Agreement was pure genius, but need updating as time progressed. This updating was never even considered, with Pres. Nixon/Henry Kissinger (self proclaimed smartest man on the planet). The structure of Bretton Woods made the U.S. Dollar in huge demand around the world...

Oh yeah. They sell all that stuff. Bubba 's brownies. We moved into a new house 2years ago. I have never walked around the block. Maybe 1/2 mile. That is my goal for next year.

Pot stocks eod run on news: CGC TLRY SNDL kaboomii

THC reduces swelling, plus whatever else. Swelling is not a big deal if ... You have a sprained ankle. But its a big deal if your spinal cord is swollen. Most anti-inflammatory compounds have other serious issues - e.g. prednisone ( will also cause osteoporosis). THC has a lot of promise.

Pot stocks eod run on news: CGC TLRY SNDL kaboomii

I'm in Delaware. No gummy bears for me. I just buy the THC bottles with the eyedropper. ( 2 oz. ?) Expensive, but the best thing I have ever tried. Take enough, buzz will.find you. I don't care about the buzz. I just want to be able to walk to the mailbox again. Any of you young kids out.there...

Pot stocks eod run on news: CGC TLRY SNDL kaboomii

I used to be a biking nut (100 miles every weeksnd) Finally had a crash, cracked L4. Severe Spinal Stenosis. Referral from the big name in lumbar pain, MD retired from the U.S. Army. Now I take THC. A lot. Works miracles. I have a photo ID to buy it. Just saying, marijuana growers are not a...

Many young people shouldn’t save for retirement, says research based on a Nobel Prize–winning theory

Debt is future spending that has already been done. With $31Trillion national debt, young folks are just going to have to do without a lot of stuff. But I assume its mostly young people who voted in the current crop.of grifters, fakes and frauds now in national office. My mother was a product of...

U.S. Plans to Ease Venezuela Sanctions, Enabling Chevron to Pump Oil

I beg tp differ. History is written by the winners, regardless of the facts. Just ask Galileo Galilei who narrowly averted having his eyes gouged out for espousing a new "round earth" theory, in contrast to the ubiquitous (and very comfortable ) belief that the earth was flat. Times change...

So inflation-adjusted the S&P 500 did not reach 1929 levels until after 50 years?

I can think of at least a few Dow stocks that filed bankruptcy. International Harvester, Continental bank, Eastman Kodak, F.W. Woolworth. Poloroid was a "Nifty 50" stock in the '70s, Probably gone as well.

Peter Schiff: The Bank Of England Rings The Mother Of All Bells

The stunning part is the giant hypocracy of it all. The FED imposes all kids of margin requirements on investors to minimize their leverage. I have a 401K (that's a private pension account). I'm not even allowed to get a Margin agreement for it. But then they (pensions as "quasi-governments")...

I agree. His P&L for the year probably sucks. He needs a "dead cat bounce" to make the year work (cash bonus, 144 stock, etc)

    Big celebration today ...

OK, found the price chart for the ten year Treas. Positive Div says there is a good bounce coming. But as a TA guy, I'm looking at that MACD line. -4.6 That's the lowest in 20 year history. MACD that low is a huge problem for bonds. On the other hand, note the MACD on the $SPX. Same...

    Big celebration today ...

I used to have a friend who was a Series 7 broker, in his past. He changed and became a data saleman (Interactive Data). He was a real "people person". Knew everybody. But he had to give up being a retail stock broker. Because when he walked down the main street of his town, he would have to...

    Big celebration today ...

OK thanks for the comment, but that IS a yield chart, not a price chart. Before I took the Series 7, I was a Muni Bond Salesman, late 1970s.. Back in the day, that was called a Series 51. 15% no federal tax. That was the top. . Imagine that."Whoops 3, 4, and 5 were 15.50%. When I worked at Dean...

    Big celebration today ...

Seems everybody was so elated that rates haven't gone up in almost a week. And maybe some news about Credit Swisse. but what happens if the bond market makes another new high in a few months or less. Ya know, Shit happens. Here's 10 year T-Note Negative Divergence. That means higher yields are...
