Solid books always get looks where I'm at. PM me if you're serious.

    Dec 2012 bid 89.37 but Dec 2011 ask 89.29 ?

m22au Just bought some Z12 110 calls myself, and am watching the Prompt/Z12 spread closely. I think prompt trades $140-$160 in 2011-2012. I just hope Z12 doesn't fall far behind. I did a similar trade in late 07 (buying Z10 105 calls). Looking at the chart of CL #F - CL F1 (can't use Z1 on...

Don't listen to the smartass above. Collective2.com is one I recall hearing about. There may be others though. That should get you started.

Power trading, does anyone know the fundamentals?

You don't have to be a utility. Virtual requirements are on their site.

Fishy in RUT 640 Sep Option

OI seems to have remained the same. Bulk of the day's trades were within minutes of each other (sometimes same minute). Perhaps someone going long/short synthetic underlying. It would've been much more fun to watch if someone was playing the SOQ roulette wheel on Friday AM.

Logitech G15 perhaps? They also have some with a color screen, and an API. Might be a starting point.

    Power/Energy Markets Trader?

If you were at an IB you'd regret that you weren't at a hedge fund :D

    Power/Energy Markets Trader?

Money to be made in inc/dec, but east/west congestion definitely less than previous years. WH bal day has had decent liquidity relative to previous years IMHO, but then again not all of us are swinging a gig at a clip, so liquidity isn't as much of an issue. I have noticed Cin liquidity dry...

How does one become an Energy Trader?

Correct, but BP still needs extras to stand in for their media shots along the gulf.

    Spot FX broker for delivery

IB did cross my mind, but the lack of support is the only thing putting me off. How quickly do they process incoming/outgoing wires. Right now I can wire money to RBC, exchange it, and wire it out all in the same business day (assuming I start early in the day). Any idea?

    Spot FX broker for delivery

I need to exchange USD/CAD on a fairly regular basis for actual currency delivery . We normally do our thing through RBC, but their rates are usually 4-5 pips outside what I see with other brokers (the other brokers won't let you take delivery of the FX though). The order sizes are pretty small...

GC Options trading hours on Interactive Brokers

What he means is no one is quoting. Its not unusual on a Sunday night. People don't quote options because the underlying (GC) has low volume and it would be difficult to hedge out option positions. Quotes will probably be tightest during hours when the open outcry pit is open.

    Why?!

Nice pair of noise cancelling earbuds tunes that crap out at my office; wish we could just keep the thing on mute though... Gotta love it when they run a commercial every week during energy inventories.
