Stopped. Overall a fairly good day. New opportunities tomorrow. That final squeeze can come today, but it's looking dim now. I'm happy with what I got.

I'm long 41.50. Stop at 39. Targeting that final squeeze.

Late entry, but I re-entered on that dip. Still think we get that push up.

Lock in 46 now. See if someone wants to step up here and sell this level. I wouldn't think so, but won't take the risk of a deep PB. Moving limit sell to 80.

Ready for a quick exit at 38-40 if this ledge breaks. Re-enter on a PB instead. Please let today be the ultimate squeeze. It would behoove me.

Is this what capitulation looks like? I got extremely lucky today. Long all day since the globex lows on various sizes. Waiting for that 5365 print. I'm wondering if this could potentially go as high as 5400 today if we see some kind of ultimate squeeze above that level. Any thoughts? We're...

If you've been doing it only for four years I'd say you're doing incredibly well. Four years is literally nothing in this game. The issues you bring up are the same we all struggle with. At least when any discretion is involved in the trading strategy. Staying humble is good advice. :)

Unbelievably, I was low ticked at 06.75 on my trailing stop. Been back in long since. Still think we'll see that 5365/70 print today. It's an Up Day until evidence of the contrary.

I realized I'm not so much a fan of posting trades as it's distracting and I will typically be very focused on managing my initial entry - taking a few scratches and small stops before nailing down an entry which I will usually hold for a big move. Anyway, I followed the plan outlined above. 5...

Awesome. You come across as a smart and patient dude (I assume). You'll make it. :)

You're killing it man. You seem to be crushing it with your personal account (15K the other day and 2K+ today). What's the benefit of trading that prop account?

Stopped out baby long at 70 and legged back in a bigger size shortly after. I think we hit 5370 today.

Will trail myself out of the baby long at 70. Probably still looking to re-enter long. Let's see what the market does... A very different pace from yesterday's frantic back and forth on the Open which ultimately sold. Seems very controlled. Bullish?

    LOL. Exactly.

Just got lucky is all. Could have gone the other way, too. Locking in 60 here. New opportunities on the Open. Too early to tell, but I see the potential of rallying all the way back to 5370 today. PS: I see my average is 16.50. I added a few and as such raised my average slightly.

Baby sized long from 5214 looking good. Pity it's baby sized.

Jobless claims coming up. Let's see if that can ignite a move out of this zone. Still a 30 point range over the last hours, but feels dull with the volatility we've had lately. If we can open gap up and hold yesterday's low - I wouldn't be surprised to see us take out yesterday's high today...

    ES Journal - 2023/2024

Is there any fresh news on this? There's been whispers about this for quite a few days now. I was trying to pick a long entry after the Globex Open and switched short on the 5200 break which seemed dramatic at the time - convinced that the attack had started. I quickly browsed a few news sites...

Sorry to hear that, man. Arguably, this is the hardest way in the world to make money and I'm sure there are others who have done way worse than you these last two weeks, i.e., blown their account. The market gives and the market takes. I stay forever humble and thankful for any gains I'm able...
