Looking Behind the Curtain; The Real Conspiracy.

His work coupled with a couple other people I follow saved my 401K a ton of money back in late 2006/early 2007. Up until that time I had been a fairly firm "buy and hold' for the 401K. In any event, when it comes time to consider weird possibilities that I would not normally consider, the man...

    Author predicted crisis, predicts inflation

I don't know, but I think I would plead guilty to anything after 7 years in prison on contempt of court. That would more than indicate to me that something isn't working right regarding the constitution and that I'd better take whatever "deal" I was offered. I'm surprised you mention the...

    Author predicted crisis, predicts inflation

I looked at this pretty closely back in 2006 and 2007. The man is a genius. I don't know if I buy the CIA angle, BUT it is obvious that he pissed off some very high level powerful people.

    Author predicted crisis, predicts inflation

I remember that he pleaded guilty recently but did not know that it was official. I'm not saying the man is a saint, however, something smells fishy about the whole case, i.e. there is no case. Contempt of court for 7 years? Come on!

    Author predicted crisis, predicts inflation

You obviously have no idea who Armstrong is, or what you are talking about in reference to him. His predictions involved specific dates. He's been in prison on contempt of court (longest in US history by the way) so he can't possibly change them. Really, if you had read anything he put out...

No problem. I understand. Posts on forums don't allow for reading simultaneous responses.

Bond Trader 2009 - War Stories for 18 March 2009

OK, I understand now, however, I do believe you prove my point. If you can completely change the intent of my post, what about Joe Blow at the office with three kids who relied on our lunch conversations to open a futures account and is now wiped out? Yes, I agree with the other post that...

Bond Trader 2009 - War Stories for 18 March 2009

Posts like this are why I don't post here anymore. I'm struggling to understand how anyone could misinterpret what I posted. This is a perfect example of why I will no longer talk about my futures trading at work. If a reader here at ET can completely change the words of a post, how much...

Bond Trader 2009 - War Stories for 18 March 2009

You can say that again. I wonder if the Fed had the eventual close of the 30 year and 10 year yesterday within their calculations of possible scenarios. Specifically I would love to have seen the various slides presented to Bernanke regarding probabilities of various outcomes. I'm going to...

Bond Trader 2009 - War Stories for 18 March 2009

What really is so sobering about this, is that at work, I meet regularly over lunch with a group of guys who share an interest in trading. They all only have experience with stock trading and options. Futures are a completely different world for them. Little by little I've been telling them...

Bond Trader 2009 - War Stories for 18 March 2009

I'll go first. This isn't a war story per se, but what could have happened does give me chills. I only trade the morning hours of the ZN. Generally speaking I'm done by noon. When I get up in the morning (evening CST), I like to go over the afternoon trades I would have taken. For the...

Need advice on a futures option..please

I trade the ZB and ZN. Look up my previous journals. Late last year and early this year I knew that a multi-day down move in the bonds was coming but I did not want to hold futures long-term, especially in today's environment. I explored my options (pardon the pun) and found TBT. It has...
